If you have trouble landing an internship, get involved with your engineering organizations and/or competitions. Elements to Eurocode 2 and other books by the concrete centre are really good. You should try some of those. You can also try John Bungey, Ray Hulse Bill Mosley - Reinforced Concrete Design to Eurocode 2-Palgrave MacMillan. For EC8 i.e seismic design, Seismic Design of
Concrete Buildings to Eurocode 8 Michael N. Fardis, Eduardo C. Carvalho, Peter Fajfar, and Alain Pecker is really good, explains a lot of theories really well but it specifically explains the clauses in the code. Elghazouli,_Ahmed_Seismic_Design_of_Buildings_to_Eurocode_8,_Second_Edition will be the best book for you if you are starting to learn about seismic design.
