I remember something along the lines of the Antediluvian tricking everybody into thinking that his body was consumed but he just had shaped things to make it look like that and something about how he settled in the New World and is now a giant fungus or something like that. Been a long time since I read these lores. Great vid by the way!
My favorite Clan by far, also my favorite to play. Tzimisce add so much horror to a game that can often times be weighed down heavily by Kindred politics and social maneuvering.
They are indeed. If you have a dark sense of humor, and enjoy imagining truly horrifying fantasy possibilities. Then look no further than Clan Tzimisce. Just imagine what a skilled user of Vicissitude can do with a Potter's Wheel.
The Tzimisce have always been one of the most interesting clans to me. In my current game I'm running I have a Tzimisce Koldunic Sorcerer who is quickly becoming my favourite character. Can't wait for the Tzimisce culture video!
I've always wanted to play a Tzimisce but I've never had the chance! :( Sounds like you're having a blast and I hope my next video can help inspire! :)
@SilverandSoul He MIGHT be! There's a lot pointing to him being Lord Ruthven, but apparently there's some confusion regarding dates between books as well as stated generations... but I'm willing to chalk it up to good old White Wolf beat-missing. Otherwise I'd think we would know more about this -other- Ruthven. AFAIK though, the Vaulderie was conducted by Lugoj and Velya using the Fire-flower of Kupola, which is said to have grown out of the Cathedral of Flesh / The Eldest, meaning that all who conduct the Vaulderie is contaminated by the Eldest vitae, yes. I dunno man, Tzimisce lore is whack! I didn't even go into the theory of Space Alien Virus Vicissitude. :P
@SilverandSoul Porque no los dos? Maybe he's being a "good lad" to the Eldest while simultaneously planning his own, eventual uprising? How do you fight a being that killed -all- of the ones attacking it but you? You build an entire army devoted entirely to the Antediluvians' destruction...
@SilverandSoul Judging by BJD's description, most likely the Middle East, chilling out with its siblings. Then again, there's also the iteration that turned into Lugoj, so... y'know... could be anywhere :D Gotta love that about Vicissitude.
This video has somehow made me more knowledgeable but also more confused about the Tzimisce. Either way, even MORE excited! I have a really great idea for a character that NOBODY would want at their table unless things were already really dire, I'll have to see if they're playable in 5e. Else we'll go back to Malkavians ;)
Two things always stick with me on this clan: 1) no matter the period, they always have been called "Fiends" and 2) they typically come in two flavors: stand-up and sicko with which being which never obvious.
Don't hold it against me but tzimisce fascinate me nearly as much as the tremere (possibly my favorite clan). While the inhuman evolution is certainly interesting, I find myself gravitating more towards the spiritual side when I consider making one. While vissitude is useful, I find the tzimisce pursuits of knowledge far more interesting. For what is the purpose of power without understanding.
I won't hold it against you, I think the Tzimisce are very fascinating too. Azhi Dahaka is such an interesting concept, like, making your own wheel inside the Karmic Wheel or something...
@@ThePrimogen I also find the rather perplexing history of the clan fascinating as well. I really eant to know the truth of lambach. There are just so many interesting tzimisce npcs, and I am sure many more pcs.

Tzimisce is and always have been the very best clan in this game, hell, even their enemies are more interesting than most other clans entirely, the Tremere (honestly a Tzimisce bloodline).
Unfortunately, as of today, there aren't any, no. There is a possibility they will show up as a playable clan in the Player's Handbook, so let's cross our fingers!

Trigger Warning on a Tzimisce is like saying a fire is hot. The only option is to run away fast.
Haha, yeah, I just want to err on the side of caution. :D
Erratically Mutagenic Material Warning also applies by default to fiend focused lore.
Depends...sometimes, you luck out and get the noble ones.

Part of me still want it to be that Caine is just going around and giving the new Clans/bloodlines their curses when they arise just for the lols.
That would be just like him, wouldn't it? "God damn it! Cursed! All o'y'all are cursed!
Why? Did some of these upstarts refuse to pay their cab fare?

Lambach holds a terrible secret about the Tzimisce Antediluvian.
But he is a 'good lad' , and will keep that secret until the Final Nights. ;)
Poor Lambach, he used to be someone important, someone impressive. Now he's just this trembling, paranoid wreck. :)
