I do think it's a shame that the opening theme didn’t release with the official soundtrack. It's honestly my favorite track in the film other than Hong Kong

Im still shocked how clean the opening titles portion is. I havent really explored the 7.1 mix of GvK like I have 2014; did it just seriously lack surround sound design for the opening credits sound effects?

@@SGKOTM2 it’s extremely forgettable and doesn’t really stand out. It just feels like background music rather than actually feeling like part of the scenes like the previous movies did

@@Angwhyrus it’s not a theme, it’s just action music. There’s like two themes in the movie, Kong’s forgettable one and godzillas (which is literally just his original theme but with some notes missing because junkieXL has such a big ego that he feels the need to make “his own” themes instead of using pre existing ones)
