- Join me in this first episode as I solo travel to Kathmandu, Nepal via Dubai on Emirates's A380 business class product. Even as a seasoned globetrotter, I am positively blown away by how hectic and incredible Kathmandu, Nepal is. I visited Buddha Stupa - one of the largest stupas in the world!

Thank you Kerry! It was a little too intense for me too at times 🤣 Needed to have some quiet time in the hotel after the chaos in the street. Once those electricity cables were so low my shoulder brushed them whilst it was raining.... That could've been quite the shock! Hope you're well!

Well, that was nice! Three weeks ago, I returned home from my own trip to Kathmandu. What a wonderful place it is! Saw some familiar sights in your video too, especially Bouddha, which was wonderful. We climbed those same stairs in the monastery, although I'm hoping you climbed up to the next floor, which was even better with better views!

Welcome to Nepal brother. I'll be back for my 10th visit in a week. My first visit was in 1982. If you like parks and the local flora and fauna then I highly recommend a visit to the "Garden of Dreams" in Kathmandu. The garden of a former Rana ruler's residence. Also a visit to the former King's palace "Narayanhiti Palace Museum" is really worthwhile.
