Honor | Original Piano Sheet Music |The Valiant

Part of " The Valiant" collection...
The honor I am proposing here is achieved honor, not ascribed (as in family or social connections) In this case honor is earned not inherited. One must show themself as worthy of the virtue to be recognized. I think of my dad who received a purple heart for his valor and service in WWII. His country showed him honor for his actions.
The melody that recurs in this piece is the ancient folk tune called "Kingsfold" which dates back from centuries ago. I had recorded a improvisation of that song and posted it here on You tube about a year ago. I love the melody and thought it might work well in parts of this composition. I hope you like what I have done with the piece.
