As someone who lives in America, i really wanted to go see this, this is as close as i will get. I will gladly support the idea to keep this forever. Its literally part of Japanese culture now. Thank you Yokohama!
You'll still be able to see it, they're just moving it. Can't remember where to or when it'll be re-open again but I'm sure a quick google search will tell you.

Just ran into this video randomly and so glad I did. Didn’t even know it was meant to be a temporary attraction, let alone that it just had its finale! Truly amazing and the drone and fireworks show was superb. It’s silly that it made me emotional cause I was lucky enough to visit this pure piece of awesomeness last year and learning it’s gone forever makes it even more special. Thanks for sharing this!

The fact that we have the technology to make moving pictures appear in the sky as constellations makes me feel terrible for the humans of the distant past once we have access to time travel. Or those of the present who are always looking for extraterrestrial life out there.
Drones are already wiping out tanks in real life battlefield so it's rather ironic that Gundam is being sent off by its potential nemesis in the future.
If Gundam were 1/10 scale, it would be possible to create a Gundam that could actually walk and run, although the shape and structure of each part would need to be changed(◠‿・)-☆
Thanks for sharing this! You got it from the perfect location! Also, horizontal view is the best for this. Another good thing you did. I saw some vertical footage, and they had to keep fully moving the gundam out of frame far too often.
I knew that the Gundam finale would include fireworks and drone effects, so I shot it in a horizontal frame, but the production space was still so large that it couldn't all fit into the frame, so I had to move the camera slightlyᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

This Gundam should be preserved at USJ with a Gundam Store outside the park. This way many people will still look go see it everyday.

ドローンによる違うアングルからの撮影て、今回のドローン演出は、立体的なフォーメーションで行っていた事がわかりました。会場だけではなく、横浜の港湾地区のどこから見ても感動するドローン演出だったと思います。

Its probably cost too much to maintain that why we have not been seeing a lot of Gundam anime in these times.
