The GNX pulled away from the Callaway TT Vette immediately from the standing start and kept pulling away, all the way to the finish line of the 1/4 mile. To add insult to injury, the driver of the GNX had his wife & son along for the ride during 1 of those 4 races, where the GNX STILL gapped the Callaway TT Vette. We're talking 5 to 6 car lengths in all 4 races. That historic footage can be seen right here on youtube. Now, do you honestly believe the stock GNX after stomping on a Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette ( and well documented ) has only "275-280hp"???

What really makes me angry is these stupid dumb heads that know nothing about Buick V8's, stick a chevy motor in a T-R body and still call it GN or Buick. There is nothing Buick about it at that point. That's what's offensive to me!

My grandfather had a yellow GSX back in the 70's and later went on to own boat tail Rivieras, which I would love to see someone put a Buick turbo V6 into one of those tanks lol. And my parents always owned Regals. What's really sad is going to car shows nowadays. The culture has changed so much. It's pretty much a new car showroom anymore. No one races from light to light anymore and the ability to work on your own car is non existent for the weekend mechanics.

Another one for glowing headers are completely normal on these cars. On a hot tune, mine are bright yellow just a few seconds into a run. My old Kenne Bell headers also glowed just like stock headers but never cracked in the 15 years I ran them. The tune makes a difference but even on a safe stock like tune they glow pretty bright pretty quickly. My friends stock GN does the same. And of course, anyone who has owned a GN knows the stock passenger side header always cracks and given enough time the passenger side does and I've seen it on tons of stock GNs

I'm a Buick guy (prefer the V8 Buicks but own a turbo car) and I LOVE spray. There is a few turbo guys even running spray. Check out the channel handle "Turbo Buick". He has a blue b-e-a-utiful T-Type (turbo car same as a GN) that has spray on it.
