Fun fact : ChatGPT does not have a clue what is blue team level 1 : As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have specific information about a certification called "Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1)." Certifications in the field of cybersecurity are frequently updated, and new ones are introduced to address specific skill sets or industry needs. but it can tell you lots of things about comptia certifications.
Nice video ! I was gonna ask You if you ever looked into Certified cyber defender training CCD as well ? It seems like a decent SOC training but didn’t find much reviews about it
I’ve completed the CCD, and it’s fantastic for SOC, with in-depth content and realistic labs. The content is engaging and practical, making it a worthwhile investment. Compared to BTL1, CCD offers a more comprehensive and challenging lab.
Hey bro I love your content. Quick question. I watched your video on resources to learn Defensive security and you mentioned using Range Force Soc 1 and 2 but you also said that BTL1 is the holy grail. Can I just study for BTL1 and skip range force Soc 1 and 2 or do you recommend starting with Range Force then doing BTL1 ? Thanks for the content.
I need with the challenge questions for the Wireshark module. I'm kinda annoyed that they don't provide an explanation after completing the quiz. Can anyone help?
@@DayCyberwox Thanks for the response. I am looking into the cybersecurity Analyst path. I currently work in a courier company with no prior IT experience. I have seeing couple of your videos(I must comment you for the time and effort you put into those videos) and other videos here on RUclips and I am looking to follow the cybersecurity path. I am currently self studying for Splunk and SIEM before diving into CySA+
CyberSecurity Analyst is a job title, not a path. Take some time to study job postings and you'll notice that two jobs can have the job position title but the roles are very different.
Does study material come with the exam voucher. How long it is valid and how much time it took you by studing how many hours a day. I am a working professional and would really help if you could answer my question.
I’m having a hard time buy this certification idk it says I need additional verification to call my bank but I was able to buy the labs of blue Team I’m not sure if it’ll work seen others on Reddit have a hard time with verification for what ever reason even though I’m using visa does trying to buy this at night make any Difference
All the resources provided in the course are sufficient but you could get more practice by playing with the Splunk BOSS OF THE SOC Dataset from either tryhackme or CyberDefenders.
I'm thinking about buying this course but can't find anything on if its a good beginner course. Would you recommend this to me. This will be my first cert.
I’d say yes if you dedicate surplus amount of hours consistently to it on a daily basis. It might be harder if some or most of the concepts are entirely new to you of which is very likely.
I took and passed the BTL1 because of you. Thank you!

Thanks! Looks like the price is pretty steep but I’ll reach out to them to see if they’ll be interested in me reviewing it🙂

Great video mate. Thank you👌
How do you feel this course and Googles cybersecurity professional course align and compare or compliment one another?
😁The Board members list all their certs under their name: BTL cert has left the list.

Talk a bit slow my man! Good content but since this is a presentation make sure your audience hears your words :) Congrats on passing
Hello Day, nice videos. I have a question I am new to IT and I just passed my Security+, what’s the next/best course you would recommend for me?
What aspect of cybersecurity are you interested in?

Can I start with it? I learn the fundamentals right now, cuz I have 0 experience in I.T.

Is the exam like providing answers in the lab?
Is this certificate relevant for SOC analyst 1 job??
yes absolutely
How did you manage to study for your college and certifications while working ?
great video, thanks! is it possible to land job after this one?
You gain the skills you need, the rest is up to you!

Hey im in a choice phase where im not sure if i should do the btl1 or hbt cdsa can you tell me which i should choose?
You can’t go wrong with either.
What are some resources you can point to to help prepare for the BTL1 exams?
Thank you and great video🔥
All the resources provided in the course are sufficient but you could get more practice by playing with the Splunk BOSS OF THE SOC Dataset from either tryhackme or CyberDefenders.
Thanks
Great video, how long did it take for you to prepare for the exam. How many days/months. how many hours in a day.
About 4 months. I had some breaks in between but right around 3 or 4 months
Tell me more about the test? Do you have 24 hours to take the test?
It is not a test, it's a lab in a cloud environment and you have 12 hours for it and another 12 hours for the report
@@707xo thank you for that. Wow sounds intense, but I'm excited
Any prerequisites before going for btl1?
None.

Just answered your question here 🙂

is it possible to study and pass in 2month? Already got CCNA and security+. I am also a cyber security major student.
I’d say yes if you dedicate surplus amount of hours consistently to it on a daily basis. It might be harder if some or most of the concepts are entirely new to you of which is very likely.
Is this course at your own pace or how do it work?
It’s at your pace but you only have access to the training for about 4 months
Hi Day,
I have 4+ years experience in soc analyst.
Will it be helpful doing this course and certification??.
With your experience level you might wanna look into the BTL2 instead but if you want a skill check then sure, go fire this one (BTL1).
@@DayCyberwox Thanks
@@DayCyberwox BTL1 Certification will be live of classes or prerecorded class videos.??
How much is the exam only ? (Without the course fee)
It’s all together. Visit the website to find out more (link in description).

Not that I know of.

Bro, speak a bit slower. Just a recommendation
