Mike, as s Patriots fan, I agree with your assessment of the team. In addition to the receivers not being able to separate, they had a turnstile at left tackle. Malcontent left tackle Trent Brown (who is now with the Bengals to protect Joe Burrow's blind side-good luck Joe, you'll need it!) quit on his team, and Vederian Lowe was not ready to be a starter and was clearly overmatched as the malcontent's replacement. The Patriots need much more than just a quarterback, so trading down would get them more picks to fill some of those other needs would be the smart move.

I still think all current top 4 QBs are projects, so give them at least 2 yrs. However who ever lands as a Vikings is going to kill it. The coaching staff is really good reminds me of The Bengals. I also see Caleb being a "serviceable" QB not elite. If Giants get a "serviceable" QB watch out they might be the surprise of the league.
All he has to do is outperform his predecessor this year.

There's going to be a ton of teams drinking the stupid juice during the 1st Round of the draft. Especially since there are people who are comparing this QB Class to 1983 in terms of how deep it is in terms of Round 1 talent.
Moving up for a quarterback rarely work. Mahomes is the only one I know currently that has.

@@bensantellano I mean you have to look at how they translated from high school to college. Caleb was great from his freshman year, Drake was also great from his first year playing, but it took Daniel’s 5 years in college to play at that level. I think NFL teams are going to look at that and say, if Caleb or Maye was great right away and played good with a shitty team last year, then they may translate better than Daniels, but that’s from my point of view
Personally I think we should take drake cause Jayden is kinda like Jamies Winston and rg3 combined well drake maye is pretty much Josh Allen but slightly smaller

As a Giants fan, stay put at 6 and take the top WR. If Pennix from Washington, who I like, is still available I would trade to make that pick somehow. I did hear Denver was talking to the Giants. Switching 1 rd picks. Giants get 1st in 2025 and Denver’s top outside CB. That seems like an amazing deal, giving the G-men two shots at getting their QB next year.

I happen to agree with all the logic you put forth in this video, apart from the fact that I believe it would be an error for the Giants to trade up for anybody. So far, I think that Caleb is a lock, but I'm not sure who QB 2 is this year. It could be Maye or Daniels, because Maye does have some decent mobility to his game. The decision for New England is to take Daniels if the Commanders go for Maye, or trade back with the Vikings and then attempt to trade back up to 5 and take Nabers before the Giants can. If the run on QBs comes like everyone is predicting, the Cardinals aren't moving from pick 4 because they can draft Harrison Jr. and enjoy the spoils. If the Patriots are forced to pick at 3 and Daniels is off the board, I have them as the destination for Marvin Harrison Jr., no questions asked.

I don’t know why this isnt talked about… but i see MHJ going 3rd. RN the patriots have 0 ability to attract free agents. They missed on calvin ridley and need a 1 receiver bad. Drafting a QB this year would be wasting 1 year on their qbs rookie contract. Not to mention you can roll the dice and see if a nix or penix is there in the 2nd round. Id argue either of them with a MHJ at wr is as good if not better than a jaden daniels or drake maye with no receivers…

Washington trading down with the Raiders is an incredible haul. To get a top 15 pick, and additional 2nd round this year. 2025 & 2026 additional first round picks.

It’s pretty much a given that the first 3 picks will be quarterbacks so whoever else needs a quarterback needs to bargain with the fourth and fifth team overall. I got my eye on Raiders and Vikings moving up.
