    The tank looks like it stood abandoned in the field for 50 years!))) The Soviet army never had such rusty tanks, because the tank is regularly serviced, repaired and painted! By the way, I was in the service in the Soviet army, I know what I am saying! Greetings from Russia!)))

    The chain at the very end of the video is incredible! How did you get that super dimensional rusted and potted look?

    •  7 лет назад +2

      with lots of pigments (like the tracks) and you can add some plaster for more relief. You also have a ready-made chain of AK interactive.

    Stunning result. But, I’m having problems sourcing the base colour of medium green RLM70. Your video looks very light rather than a darker variant of green. What brand of paint (and colour number) did you use? It would seem, according to what I’ve read on the internet that RLM70 is a green/black. Any help appreciated, thanks 👍

    •  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks! Yes it's a little mistake. It is Gunze H 7o (RLM 02)

  • @hl1796
    @hl1796 6 лет назад

    thank you, also, what color of the wash did you suggest if i pick the base paint of the track is dark color like black/brownish black or a little bit shinny like gun metal color ?

    •  6 лет назад

      You can use a lighter color like dry mud, light dust, kursk soil from Mig for exemple.

    Bonjour Frédéric. Est-ce utile d'acheter une peinture "effet écaillé" alors que c'est, à mon avis, l'éponge qui le fait?

    •  7 лет назад

      MrStuche bonjour. Je ne connais pas ce genre de peinture effet écaillé. Mais en effet c'est le travail à l'éponge qui reproduit cet effet.

    • @MrStuche
      @MrStuche 7 лет назад

      Frédéric Mertès D'accord. c'est juste que sur le pot il y avait écrit chipping color. Sinon, le résultat global est impressionnant.

    •  7 лет назад

      MrStuche chipping effect c'est la couleur rouille ancienne. c'est un brun rouge presque noir. mais tu n'es pas obligé d'acheter ce pot, tu peux faire un mélange toi même.
