Well hello there! Wonderful video, as always. I've been watching your channel for years now, but through youtube on a ps3. Finally joined the pc world, and now I can comment on, and share your videos. I want to genuinely thank you for countless hours of quality entertainment, and am looking forward to all you have in store. Can't wait for your next one. Keep up the good work, and have a great week.
@@thedarkpower I have to confess that when I say you inspired me. That is literal. I started a RUclips channel where I make and will eventually film on Green screen a kind of steam punk mecha in a machine world. In the second episode at around the 4 minute 50 second mark I gave you a shout out. Several months ago now. Hope I give you justice. I have a small audience and am not near your level. But your work has influenced me for sure. 👍 keep it up man
Thanks, glad they've been useful. I think it's actually 300gsm, although I do tend to separate it into thinner layers. I also use some glass fibre tissue which is 30gsm.

@@LaserGadgets Considering Alsace's story, we may actually both be right lmao

Very nice mate, super clean mold. Love the thick band of silicone idea, made for such a clean join!
Cheers dude :)

Thanks for the mention! I'm glad my videos helped ;) I hope the project goes well.
Did you not say "more mechs to come"? Im waiting :>
Haha, it's currently in bits on the workbench, should be a month or so ;)
@@thedarkpower : O
Ok!
Could you tell me how you smoothed out your silicone final layer before your fibreglass please :) love this video. It’s a great tutorial!
Thanks. You can dip a finger in white spirit and smooth it out that way - the white spirit will stop the silicon sticking to your finger.
@@thedarkpowerthank you!
Awesome work 👍 what type of silicone is that?
Thanks! It's this stuff www.mbfg.co.uk/gp-3481-f.html
Hi, Your videos have been really helpful, so thankyou. What thickness of chopped strand mat (fibreglass) are you using? Is it less than 225gsm?

Great looking skull. Do you sell them on your page?
Thanks, yes I have some in my etsy store www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TheDarkPower
How can I get it 3d printed
You can get 3D models of skulls from turbosquid
Ah dude. That poor airbrush looks abused! Otherwise very nice vid!
Haha, cheers - it just needs a good soak in ISO ;)
