thanks for these videos sola youve unironically given me so much motivation since the beginning of my GCSEs. im doing A level now and i kinda binge watch ur A level/university life videos when i have the time. further education is rlly something i look forward to thanks to u :)
thank you so much for your help! you’ve been a great guide to me during igcses!! can you make a video about your top tips for As/A levels? it’s getting really stressful and it’s only the third week 😭 maybe any resources, time management tips, and how to study and apply really hard information? Lots of love xxx
Hi, thanks so much for this video its really helpful! I just wanted to add to the point you made about visualizing your goals - I saw somewhere about creating a Pinterest board and looking back to it when ur not motivated to study. You could include pins like your dream job, where you want to be in the future, what you want to do, etc. This really helped me and I hope it helps you guys too!
1. Write down assignments -organize your time, homework and notes, resources, due date 2. write down your goals and visualize yourself achieving them 3. accountability - being responsible for your actions such as bad grades, using failure as a source of motivation, and thinking openly, you can do this!!! -observe students and what you can do to replicate their actions or implement some of their habits -do small achievable goals, putting in effort other students do not. 4. Reset your dopamine allowance, STOP USING TIK TOK ( I don't anyway lol ^^ ) , you're distracted and wont achieve your dream grade!! Set limits 🚫
These tips are amazing Sola! I just had a quick question regarding revision. How many subjects would you revise daily and for how long would you do this for? Im sitting my GCSE'S this year and i'm aiming to achieve the best marks possible!
I would revise one quick subject in the morning e.g. Maths even if its just 10 mins (do Corbett 5-a-day) then afternoon would be like 30mins-1hr homework, then 2 hours of one subject each afternoon. Towards exam season you can start to add more subjects in afternoon. Just take it easy though because you don't want to burn out at the start

Hey I’m year 10 at a utc and I’ve started my academic comeback. But every is like your rushing the year cis I’ve started revising and looking for work experience etc but I don’t believe that I’m rushing
Hi Sola, I love your videos and they really helped in y10 I'm currently in year 11 and I want to go up from 4s and 5s to 8s and 9s but I'm really struggling with improving my grades especially in maths and science do you have any tips ?
I have specific videos for these subjects with all of my tips and tricks so definitely check them out. Science: ruclips.net/video/NL7u7vZ4mnM/видео.html&ab_channel=SmileWithSola, Maths: ruclips.net/video/aJEkjuN9qJ4/видео.html&ab_channel=SmileWithSola
Hiii , i love your content but i have a question .What tips do you recomend for people with more than 10 gcse in terms of revising after school and on the weekends?
Try to do a 'quick' subject in the morning e.g. Maths or studying a few language flashcards then in the afternoon focus on one subject / two if you have time. Focus more on exam questions and active recall rather than making notes as this can waste time. On the weekend have one day completely off then have one day for catch-up, revising previous topics and doing any homework due for the next week. Hope this helps!
Hey sola, thank u so much for the video! I wanted to ask as to whether you had any recommendation of a book/article regarding the topic historical dental treatments or dental treatments in general, im researhing for a project, it is just so difficult to research and I was struggling, I was hoping if you could perhaps give me 5 dental treatments historical/modern that you think I could write lots about in my project and is important in dentistry
You could possibly talk about how conservative treatment has gotten over the past few years e.g. the shift from huge amalgam fillings to small composite fillings. You can also talk about the development of crowns / dentures and how we're moving more towards aesthetic and life-like prostheses. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the amazing tips sola. However i feel very lost as i just started year 10 and dont know what to do and we havent covered a lot of the content in subjects like maths or science any tips?

Hi there , your videos has really helped me to revise and to remember stuff however tho, sometimes when i revise my eyes gets heavy and this feeling really makes me not want to revise, do you know how to prevent this ?
You probably need to work at a time where you have more energy. Also, it all depends on nutrition, vitamins and the way you treat your body. So see whether you're an early bird (more productive in morning) or a night owl. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables for natural energy. As well as this, set specific timings to revise. Start low with 10 min sessions then slowly build up as you improve your focus over time. Hope this helps!
