@LetsPlayAll Just the headphone jack with 11 stereo amp and speaker simulations and the stereo effects return had me sold on the IR-2, I work late, so I can rarely play guitar when I get home because people are sleeping... 🎸🎧
I already got this as when watching the pedal shows interview with Noel Gallagher he said he used a boss space echo and an ac50 and I've had fun with some oasis tones
Finally someone who doesn't attribute this pedal exclusively for the John Frusciante"'s sound! Jeff Buckley and the whole 90s grungy movement have definitely this sound in their albums... Well done! I have this pedal and even with humbuckers it sounds A-MA-ZING! If cranked up in the CE mode (as far as I remember) it has that "chewing" sonic characteristic proper of the DS-1 distortion when set a low gain and tone at 9 o'clock!!! Buying it gives nothing but a true investment for a super versatile and flexible sound machine...
I'm not really a big RHCP fan, tbh. They're all talented musicians, their music just doesn't do much for me. I heard another demo of the BP-1w that was almost all RHCP riffs.
Thanks for the video. I bought this booster and I'm just getting to know it. What Ir do you use in your torpedo in the videos? I will be grateful for your response. I watch your videos all the time and I'm usually satisfied with the sound.
I’ve got the victory v40 4x12 pack, literally just use the same setup in every vid with the wall of sound plugin it comes with. I only got it to mimic my home setup when I was using my victory head and I’ve just stuck with it tbh 😊🤘
I can't find it in the wall of sound software. Is this package paid? Please provide a link if you can. I use captor x. Thank you for your answers. Regards@@LetsPlayAll 😊
Does jammin Boss BP-1W make anyone else really happy? Boss BP-1W is quickly becoming my favorite pedal. It's just so beautiful and sexy. Practically free and the second you drop her on the board that chill ass mfer gives you a Rich Dark Gushing Robust tone.. And you also get this cute little 1/1 feedback response usually too harmless to be forgotten. But more than that, the Boss BP-1 is just so positively alluring. It comes on the board like "do you want to cast a spell?" and I'm like "yeah BP-1W i do want to cast a spell let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "SPELLS ARE FUN" and I'm like "yeah they are SO FUN." She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah spells are fun and voodoo spooky.” And she looks so happy. I mean this is an inanimate object that literally brought my guitar to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dude is just fucking loving it. I mean just look at her face she’s just so happy and cute as a button. I am literally never sad when Boss BP-1W is on board. IDK if she's gonna ever make it into the pedal HOF or not, but for now she a super chill pedal.
Hey Matt - I'm glad you're being paid for these promo videos but..... as a user of Boss pedals since the 1980s I won't buy them anymore. I sold all mine 10 years ago cos most of them tone suck tube amps, none are true bypass and they're actually very expensive in Australia. There's 100s of cheaper, much better true bypass pedals of every type than what Boss make imo :)
Hey Peter, the demos and Patreon support basically keep the lessons on here free for all and personally I’m a fan of Boss and I feel fortunate to be able to demo their gear, and I’m not here to convince you otherwise, but I demo a lot of pedals and for me Boss have been nailing it with their recent releases for the past few years. My opinion only obviously, but I only use a tube amp and I personally haven’t found that to be the case. If you’re talking about buffers vs true bypass then that’s a longer convo 😀 but I mean the DS-1 in the uk at least is about £65, which is pretty inexpensive these days. If you’re looking to support local small builders in Oz tho I’d recommend PastFx or Echofix amongst others🤘😊
@@LetsPlayAll Yes Matt I agree these things are mostly subjective. I solved my tone suck issues 10 years ago by having all true bypass pedals with only a "good" buffered pedal as 1st in line on a big board. On small pedal boards no buffered pedals are required and I don't trust them not to tone suck. Big issue with Boss is they still don't make any true bypass pedals and they caused me a major problem with poor quality buffers. I therefore don't trust Boss pedals. Price of this Waza Craft BP pedal in australia is $299. Poor value for $$ here imo :)
The way you have demoed this pedal makes me think it is one of the most pointless and bad sounding pedals I have ever heard? What's with the ratterly break up? This just sounds like a pre amp of an amp being used but crap.
did you listen to the entire demo? i use the same amp settings for all my demos. This is one of my fave boost pedals but if it's not for you then all good
@@LetsPlayAll I am all for OD sounds from a pre amp on the amp but this pedal seemed absolutely pointless to me when you could do the same thing by adjusting the actual preamp value on the amp?
@@Neil-Aspinall that’s the whole point tho, my amp doesn’t do what this pedal does. You get three preamp flavours in one pedal (although one is very transparent)
With this and the RI-2 , Boss is seriously stepping their game up and offering very good new products to the market.
Yea they’re killing it at the moment, smash hit after smash hit!
I'm still waiting on my BP-1w and IR-2 to arrive, I have a feeling they will be game changers for my tone.
@@scramblesthedeathdealer amazing, I’m using the bp-1w all the time, haven’t tried the IR-2 as yet but plan too soon!

really accurate test with proper riffs to present the effect
thanks!
Best demo of this pedal that I can find. Cheers.
Wow thanks so much mate, really appreciate the kind words 🤘😊🙏
Absolutely love the sounds with the gain and level maxed thank you for including those settings!!
Excellent song samples! Loved the alternative artists' riffs you featured.
Thanks mate!
What a start to the demo!!!
😀🤘
I was familiar with using the Space Echo as a preamp, not the Chorus Ensemble so much. You learn something every day.
I already got this as when watching the pedal shows interview with Noel Gallagher he said he used a boss space echo and an ac50 and I've had fun with some oasis tones
Nice!
What a fantastic demo! I used the Xotic RC Booster v2 and that thing is amazing but this is really intriguing too.
Thanks mate! Xotic make excellent stuff too, always see them on lots of pro boards. I've got the SL drive which is a great little pedal too
And now I want a Tele too! Nice demo!
@@Dthraco cheers!!
I was pleasantly surprised to hear Jeff Buckley for the demo. LOVE IT! Great playing and fantastic showcase of this Boss pedal. 😊❤👍🏻

Liking for the iconic song demonstrations!
cheers! I always try to put in a bunch of relatable riffs when I demo gear :-)
There's not a bad sound in it 🔥🔥 awesome 👌

Yes! I just got mine two days ago, it sounds fantastic regardless of the settings!
Sure there were, all of them sounded pretty bad Karl.
Grace for an opener, well done!
timeless tune - love playing it!
