David your experience on offering up pain for reparation in that it lessons or goes away is the exact experience I have, though I usually offer it up for the salvation of poor souls in purgatory … but like you my pain usually goes away very quickly… so reassuring to hear someone else having a similar experience 🙏
Isaiah : "-- With his stripes we are healed " The stripes that man gave him out of sin become his own (he who had no sin became sin for us) BY which he redeems man unto the Biblical words "I Hurt & I Heal " (Job) the words that underscore the Communion The Body & Blood of the STRIPED Christ received through FAITH The GRACE FAITH has its works within, comes through following the TWO COMMANDMENTS of Love, amounts to picking up ones own crosses to follow him as commanded, thus Equating with him on the Cross So the stripes that man gave him ,he uses to redeem is the reason why "It pleased God to Bruise him" (Isaiah) Not for the bruises itself but for its Fruit, For which he had to Resurrect that he did cause Our sins could not hold him down in hell (where Sin rules) as he was found stronger than Sin itself, unto his words "I have overcome the world " (its sins) to say there is no sin that he cannot remove This is basically a "Conversion act " instead of a "Substitution (magical) act" as generally believed by Protestants, This erranous belief has its origins through Protestantism's theologically leavening of the Faith by "Faith Only " that James specifically says is not, unto mis interpretation Paul (the reason why Martin Luther rejected James cause it was a hinderance to his erranous view of redemption) & the philosophies that arise out of the leavens becomes to another Christ another Gospel , that the Catholic Church is being dangerously led into under this Pontiff through the Protestantization Give unto God what is to God - FAITH , surely not a Leavened/Corrupted Faith

Well the host is nervous maybe ...some people smile and laugh away when they hear something horrible ....it's not their heart but their mind which gives such reflex...it happens to some laymen more often since they aren't composed as fr mawdsley (well he is a priest ).... But in my personal opinion (emphasis needed)in general the host here is too enthusiastic(fr Altman os of that personality ) than normal ones so he starts the question before the other finishes the answer for the previous one... You will get used to it..the issue with this channel is their constant denial of sister lucias replacement following fr gunners mistakes ...
Father said 3 things before David smiled. Father said if you avoid all self-sacrifice in this life, you'll be isolated, miserable, and probably end up going to Hell. Maybe he is smiling at the irony of self-sacrifice and being miserable in its absence. Also David smiles alot in all of his videos.
Infants that are not baptized go to limbo, not to heaven. That what the church said from the beginning. The innocent went to heaven because our lord took them to heaven after his death with the prophets and others. Baptism became effective after our lord ascension.
Many, if not most, pre Vatican II theologians agree with limbo of the infants. However, the eminent Theologian and Thomist, Cardinal Tommaso de Vio Cajetan, generally referred to as Cajetan, believed in infants being able to receive baptism by the desire of their parents.
@bweatherman3345 - Thank you for your comment. You note correctly that the Holy Innocents, like the Old Testament prophets, were saved through having acquired Justification at the time of their ritual circumcision, not through the Sacrament of Baptism. God bless you.
It is true that Caetano believed that, but that was a controversial opinion and the Church didn't see that very well. Saint Pius V ordered that this mention of vicarious baptism of desired to be removed from Caetano's works. It was not formally condemned, but it is not secure to hold this position.
Some say that Pius V intended to condemn this proposition, but didn't do it because Caetano had a Cardinal friend that asked Pius V to don't do that to don't debunk all Caetano's work. I also read that once a theologian (pre-VatII) wrote that on a book and he had problems with the Holy See because of that as well.
Limbo is generally acceppted by theologians as a place of natural beatitude. It would be the place that we would be in eternity sharing eternal perfect natural happiness if we weren't elevated to the supernatural order.
Welcome

GOD BLESS YOU!

A fascinating insight. Thank you both. May God bless you abundantly
Crushing…..such an effective adjective.

I have often wondered if we all would have been subject to to the temptation of the tree if Adam and Eve had not eaten of the tree.

FAITH has its works within, comes through following the TWO COMMANDMENTS of Love, amounts to picking up ones own crosses to follow him as commanded, thus Equating with him on the Cross

Excellent!
David with all due respect I don't understand why you smiled and smiled when Father mentioned going to hell?
😂😂😂
I'm trying to think of a reason. Maybe he smiled too much but then was feeling pity for those souls. It's not easy explaining...🧐
