- On some Gmod servers there are a range of exploits that allows players to do things they aren't supposed to be able to do, this is largely due to laziness or an owners lack of will to actually spend money on the server. Today we're abusing the biggest exploit and most simple exploit on a pay to win Garry's Mod Server.

Edit: also the staff bias is wild on the server. It’s nice and all when it’s in your favor, but when you’re against a buddy of the staff you might as well just fuck off. So infuriating lol

Also if the admin is dumb and doesn’t grab your steam ID you could make your name someone else’s but change the last letter and it will bring the other person, or make your name a letter that you can’t type. Idk there were a bunch it was shitty but that’s what I remember it was ages ago

I used to be staff on GarnetGaming, that shit was awful. The amount of RDM reports and all I had to say was: "well if you don't got a clip I can't do anything" despite me being pretty positive that the person who made the report was RDM'd LOL. I don't know why that has never been changed, this was like 3-4 years ago when I was staff.

If its anything like being admin of an arma dayz server there’s no time to actually play your account. It’s a job constantly dealing with petty bs like this, random server bugs and finding hackers/dupers/etc. You can’t even login to another account to have fun because everyone figures out its your alt and still asks for help or have tickets handed off to you.
It’s a shitty deal with no reward.
Honestly, the worst bit of any DarkRP server is that 80% of the playerbase just constantly record so the minute you do something that isn't completely compliant with the rules they immediately send off clips to admins. It's just pathetic.

Hey ex garnet staff member here. Just wanna say that we don’t really care about players that donate a lot of money. More or so there was bias because he is a high level and you’re not. Also funny thing is, we’ve suggested MULTIPLE times to get billy logs. But the owner refuses to because it’s “baked into the servers code” or somethin like that. Anyways pretty funny video keep em up bro :)

i'm curious, for people that spend a lot of money do they try to get on the good side of the staff or is it moreso they just hang with other players that spend a bunch of money (sry if obvious question but there's always a lot of cliques with players that buy custom classes)
@@Daytodaycontent people that play on the server a lot are often friends with the staff so that’s what causes bias most of the time. Most the time there’s not really a “good side” but most staff treat every situation differently but me personally didn’t really treat random players differently from another.

traded my in game money for dono items (i dont know how everyone who plays this server has so much money, they dont do anything but play this shit but they always got real cash to trade for in game garnet gaming money) and became staff to abuse the shit out of it and get my friends out of sits on a normal basis, got perm banned bc of how much i mass rdmed and then got unbanned by just asking a manager 💀

I played that server a long time, it is the WORST they scam people with any porches with an auto subscribe that with bill the card used the same about 400x once every month unless you see it and cancel it. They also sell staff, let people who are friends with staff get away with things. on top of everything even if they didn't do all this, 90% of the staff will only do anything when they are told to by a superior or if something happens to them they will take their own sits. I was once banned for doing "/me /rolled a 99" when other people were using the /roll addon to gamble.even tho everyone thought it was funny the admin was annoyed because he "said to stop"
shortly after i was banned for 10 years for giving everyone on the server 100's of 1000's of grenades for free and they where throwing them at each other
