The Sterling Ink (N2) weeks size planner has the grid on the left side. I'm using it this year & I love it because of the grid on the left; plus there is no writing on the bottom which maximizes the space overall.
As an educator, I learned the yellow and cream color paper is easier on the eyes than the white paper. Some students with special needs worked better with assignments on colored paper rather than white. I like the cream better because I got used to using it. A suggestion would be that each spending section be written in a different color so that it stands out. I currently use red for money spent, green for money in, black for section headings. Just an idea to consider. 💚💚💚
Dave and I had to reduce our spending because our income changed. Things that I did: I looked at cable and ditched as much as I could. 150 saved. I bring my coffee to work 4 days a week, and get coffee at dunkin once a week. Reduced paper towels. Looked to our 401k. And cut back to 10% Reduced our electricity bill by using motion sensors. Reduced my lunch purchase to twice a week. I put xx.xx dollars a month into ibonds this is a long term savings goal. I want to be able to afford health insurance on our own within 10 years. I don't want to work for the man. I treat this as a bill that is paid. I said to my friends, keep inviting me, I am broke af but if I can swing it, I will. I paused the gym. I started shopping at grocery outlet weekly for staples before going to the supermarket. I eat before grocery shopping. I checked our checking and credit cards for subscriptions. Nixed the dups. My subscription to sterling ink went to the second tier. All of these are minor changes. But it made a huge impact. I didn't want to completely deprive myself because I know me. I would binge. I hope this list gives you some inspiration.
Hey erin, you mentioned starting with a happy planer. it would be fun if you could share your planner history if you haven't before like what planners you've used over the years! I have the sterling ink N2 weeks planner snd It is very similar to hobonichi weeks! I love the b6 size for journaling
I have the N1 and B6 Sterling Ink compact planners and love them! I agree that the paper is better than the new Hobonichi paper. I’m definitely using the Common Planners again next year.
Hey Erin! I have the common place sterling ink planner for the weeks size. I honestly love the paper more than the hobonichi weeks. I think it's because of the color and weight of it. I got my cover from sterling ink. I believe she sells them as well.
I bought the 5 year question book from walmart cause of you and I love it! I don't have to worry about what to write and like you said, it's easy to answer, and takes a couple seconds. Sometimes I do several pages at a time and either get ahead or catch up!
Loving my Sterling Ink - I have A5 and B6, love them… I’m staying with them next year for sure. I’m thinking I may add an N2 for work. I’m just worried I won’t know when the preorder is and I’ll miss it.
I just purchased the N1 Full Year and I am ECSTATIC about it!!!! I literally can't wait until May 4. I think I'm going to love it a lot! I also got the B6 Full Year. So excited to try out Sterling Ink. I want her subscription SO BAD LOL
Hey Erin 👋 just wanted to mention that the TCMC printable paper was a digital file from the website…if you go back thru your orders it should be there and you can download them all again 😉 I just got my N1 compact the other day, I got the horizontal layout and plan to set it up similarly to how you do your weeks

Yes and I have the vertical N2, I think either one would be great!

I think you’ll end up switching to the common planner next year. If you love decorating, the dailies shouldn’t be a problem because you’ll be able to.
