Where does the snow go? Is it heated to a liquid form, and then disposed of. Or conveyed by conveyer belt.
that`s awesome great video
Fantastic filming - i love the way you are remove all the show. ❤ thanx mate for sharing your video. ❤
Seems to work pretty efficiently, thats a lot of damn snow in a hole and its not build up much, good plan Canada
How many trucks would dump at the particular site? Are certain areas dedicated to certain dump site?
About 10/15 trucks par hours. Each areas having dedicated dump for limit the travelling and the cost of that.
Mighty machines season 2 ep2 in the snow
Nice filming👍

well, what pipe is in the ground and where is it going to ?
read the words in the above section
So the sewer isn't frozen and is massive?
👍👍👍👍
How many spots like this one thru-out the city??
I think around 10 spread out thru the city
About 15 spots, mostly snow dump where the snow is pile, who melt during summer.
Other are sewer system like the video show
It's rumored that hole is 3 km deep
What’s in the hole ? Is the snow melted ?
Melted by the sewer and then sent along with sewer water for treatment..
Just a pipe system, everything melting pretty fast
@@MontrealTruckSpotting
Wow ! That must take some power to do that ! A lot cheaper to dump all the snow in that big hole at Carrière Francon.
@@WhiskeyGulf71 It's both separated by 17km. Around 50min each other, kinda too far from this areas to move to the quarry Francon.
Where does it go?
The city says..
"Sewer chutes process 25 per cent of the city's snow, in which the snow mixes with hot wastewater from residential showers, melts, and flows to a treatment plant in Montreal East, where it is filtered and eventually released into the St. Lawrence River."
ca se deverce ou cette neige???
Réseau d'égouts, donc ça finit à la station d'épuration lorsque c'est fondu
Good video and informative !
Underground to Where..?
They use it for drinking
Where does the snow goes when it drop there.. is it melted 🤷♂️
It melts in Hell
@@woodnewf3847 Ahh, so it goes to NY.
@@Chris-gc3cm Moncton
Where does it go down the hole
It goes straight down 3 km where a child labor workforce armed with hair dryers melts it
@@tpokmedia7828 yes.
Poor design? Well they are Canadians… just kidding folks, a laugh with my Coffee.😂
Not a job for EVs
Poor design of that hole. Should be a bit wider and the grid a bit lower. Then there would be no use of the digger to clean up after each dump.
Maybe next time the engineering bid for one of these comes up you'll submit a little bit lower bid so you'll get the job and it can be done correctly.
@@justynanderson70he calls that backhoe a digger so I'm sure his Tonka Toy bid would be rejected. 😆
Don't need screen .take it off save hoe time
@@RVBobWell, not everyone is native English speaker and in many languages the "backhoe" and "digger" actually use the exact same word...
Well that’s what she said
Then what happens to the snow?
Droped in the sewers, direction water treatment plan
They have big fans down there that blow the snow to USA
It goes straight down 3 km where a child labor workforce armed with hair dryers melts it.
