Fiero Restoration Part 1 • 1987 Fiero GT Project ...
Dont wait for something to break on the delorean! We enjoy seeing anything delorean related.. you can do a POV video (point of view) drive around and record peoples reactions to the delorean.
I have thoroughly enjoyed both the Fiero and Delorean series. They don't have to come to an end. You can allow us to revisit both cars from time to time. I'd take either one. I love the props you have added to the Delorean. That Outatime plate and flux capacitor are awesome. I love the hover board and Farmer's Almanac and save the clock tower flyers. A+++
Thank you!!! Yes I will do updates video fairly often.
Hoses? Get rid of the 39 year old fuel hoses, or get a battery cut out switch in the event of a fire. Love your videos. Oh, get rid of the stove pipe hose too? Thumbs up from me
The fuel system has already been replaced
i can't believe some hater actually disliked this video??! jeez louise. it's a good vid! great volume, very interesting walk thrus. some people
I have really enjoyed both the Fiero and Delorean series. I really like your positive attitutde and you can tell that you are having fun working on these cars. I'm hoping for more content from you soon.
Thank you very much!
Hey don't spend time thinking about the dislikes it seems no matter how good a video is, someone hits that choice. Very interesting series, even after all these years the DMC 12 stands out in traffic just like when it was new. I always loved all the wedge shaped cars.
I really enjoy your videos. Both delorean and fiero...and if something breaks, so be it. More content. And go with the MG. Easy to work on.
I love these delorean videos they are awesome 👌 👏
Wow! Very beautiful and high-quality work! With love from Russia)
Beautiful job on the DeLorean
Superb job done with your DMC. Keep it up 👍 with the good work.
I'm sad that I won't be able to watch any more your videos. Enjoyed every episode!
I will for sure do update videos even if nothing breaks down. Thanks for watching!!!
First of all I would never give you a thumbs down because you took the time to make the video and that alone is more work than most people need. Besides the fact you did all the work yourself that should mean something in itself cheers to you
Those who thumbed down Theyre just jealous ignore them
Big fan! Suggestion for your next project: find a Bricklin. Something that's forgotten and completely different.
One thing I would check on the doors is the roof box and door strut ball joint conditions. I'm not sure if you said DMC repaired the roof box or not, but a rusted roof box can be a bad situation if rusted out. I right now am trying to install the new DeLoreanGo door strut brace kit to reinforce the doors. My roof T panel pops and cracks every time you open the driver door in cooler weather. I think in the warm summer days it expands the fiberglass body and doesn't pop, but I'm hoping its not physically cracked. Maybe I could put weather seal in any cracks as a patch up?
Uses zip ties instead of hose clamps, doesn’t use ziptie to keep hose from being squashed again.
These videos on the Delorean are so cool thanks for making this so cool
Thumbs up for the great video series! So now what? If you're driving the D daily I would fully replace those failed hoses that you spliced. Watch out for corrosion on the frame (avoid rain and DEFINITELY salt if applicable to your region). Don't use Castrol GTX as recommended by "DMC" of Texas (It is lacking in ZDDP needed for flat-tappet engines). Unless your engine is severely worn or you drive consistently in 95-degree+ temp's, do not use 20W-50 as recommended by "DMC" either. Please don't get wrapped up on BTTF crap, or get into too many gaudy aftermarket "upgrades" like I see De Lorean owners do once they apparently get bored. You have a beautiful example. Keep it that way and enjoy your ownership!
Enjoyed the vids, nice to see a bit of 'heath Robinson' approach to repairs rather then replacing everything. One thing that does stand out is the quality of the cars from factory, them light boards and dials not going to zero when off ect are so poor,he definitely scrimped when designing this thing a long time ago !still my dream car though
It was a pleasure my friemd!
I still regret selling mine 25 years ago, as well as selling my Fiero GT to buy my DeLorean. 😢
Cool. I have oldy opel from pestoration to. Ohhh . Engine is engine. Good luck.
Opel ascona 85- 90
Wow DMC must have gone up in their pricing. You said you got the 2 for $106 shipped. They're now $60 each, or a pair with bulbs for $138. Doesn't seem too bad to me!
Where did you get the flux capacitor if you don't mind me asking?
Massive fan bring back the bay liner 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful car i want to buy one i wait for part 5
I dig all the work you put into the Delorean, but im curious since you said was restored should some things have warranties
are you going to add the part to the rear window like in the movie when doc, opened up it up and put garbage in it for fuel? And what about the pipe trim?
I have really enjoyed your videos, good reference and detailed. What camera did you use to film these?
Beautiful work, congratulations.
Thank you! Cheers!
new tail lights with led boards for a set are like 229, it isnt that bad. Fixes all issues with the lights unless your wiring is pretty corroded, has bulb, flasher unit and new boards plus leds
Cool for the flux capacitor
Gr8 JOB 👍👍 LOVE THE CAR !
Thanks! 👍
Good job! 😉👍
Thanks! 😃
Car is in great shape, why do the volts
bounce on the gauge?
Thats a delorean thing. My car is perfect, and occasionally does it. If its really bad but just may be a lose connection, easy to fix. I bet his issue is a ground that needs to be cleaned as his voltage movement is pretty bad.
Really great videos. Love the Delorean and Fiero. Question... are you getting a new steering wheel for fiero? Drives me crazy how the old leather wrapped wheels warp and wrinkle.. what can you do?
Yes I hope to do that in the nearer future. Was putting it off due to the $$$ already spent on it.
fiero880 you should feel proud. I love what you have done and continue to do. I have had two Fieros and will always love them.
Coolest time machine ever.
Thank you
@@fiero880 You're welcome. Cheers and stay safe of the Covid-19.
You could also add the speedometer that goes to 88 m/hr
Great job! Here's something for part 5...drop the front end suspension! It was never designed to be up that high.
Thx for video! Wait next)
Wassup with that white cut wire? Did you paint those faded wiper arms? And your next project should be another mid engine car like a MR2! *hint*
I want one sooooooo much 😍
Guy has more money than sense 💸
