I still have my 1987 Fiero. My first new car. Still runs ! It looks even better now than when I purchased it from the Pontiac dealer. Always loved the look and drive of the car. You got a beauty there. It’s going to look really great! Always nice to see other Fiero owners keeping them around!
I loved this start up and beginning of restoration video! It always intrigues me when I see old cars parked inside of sheds and in yards if they could ever be up and running again. I’ve been following your videos for many many years since I was in grad school and this just takes me back to the memories of those days! Love the content, keep it coming! Glad to see you are doing well! 😊
This will be the second Fiero resto I've watched on RUclips If you haven't seen the other one search Ronald Finger on RUclips he also completely restored a Fiero . Looking forward to this one one these are iconic cars from my childhood.
Always loved the look of these. Would love to see one of these with a supercharged 3800 swapped into it, but that engine in it now sounds great and seems to be running well. Looking forward to be this series!
Man, I want an ‘85 2M6. Here’s some info that might help you. The hood is modified, the scoop is aftermarket (and ugly), that wing is from an AW11 MR2, and the seats are from an ‘84 Fiero. If you’re in the salt belt, check the rear upper frame rails and engine cradle for rust-through. Can’t wait to see this progress, good luck!!
I’d like to see a nice restoration with this 85 Pontiac, new suspension, Dakota digital gauges, new paint, restoration of the interior, something very similar to the Monte Carlo :)
I was 15 at the time so the 80s is definitely my most nostalgic era for cars. I always loved the Fiero GT's fastback design, even tho the Vb it came with was less than impressive. That said, the standard model was cool in its own right.
I would absolutely love to own one of these cars. Specifically a 1985 Gt model in Red with the rare t-tops and a manual transmission 😍. I’m super stoked for more fiero content!!!
Such an awesome video! I like the older GMs so it’s going to be hard to decide between the Jimmy , the k1500 and this one which was my favorite. I’d still love to have a truck identical to the step side though!
I have an 84 Fiero and love it! Glad to see you are taking this on. And thanks to Ronald Finger for inspiring me to grab it and restore my own! What’s the other Fiero for? Parts?
I have a Fiero 87 the profile picture you see is mine thing that scares me now after having it since 2018 as I noticed rust on the part of the frame where the engine cradle is I'm hoping I can find somebody to weld it or I can put piece of Steel there where the shock mount is otherwise I might have to get rid of mine or find another Fierro I think I can weld it never was a General Motors fan but I love the Fiero
No, my friend had the GT as a parts car, is way too far gone for saving. I'll end up using most of it to fix the SE, except for the ground effects. My friend prefers the non-GT notchback body.
The tach in the dash is from a 4 cyllinder Fiero, The V6 tach red lines at 6000 RPM and orange lines at 5500 RPM. Either the dash cluster or the motor aren't original to the car
@@saabkyle04Hey Kyle. I’m a huge fan of your videos and I really like the reviews of every car you have posted on your RUclips channel. And I also want to wish you a happy birthday from me and my family.
Fiero V6’s have always sounded great.
Some great sounding V6 was GM’s 3.8 and 4.3

I still have my 2.8L 1985 SE. I bought it new in 85.

Ronald finger has entered the chat
I am missing those uploads! I haven't been as into Kyle's reviews/truck builds but I'm THERE for revivals and his restomod.
I really thought it was a Ronald Finger video when i saw the thumbnail 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
This video reminded me of your old junkyard attempts to start. I always loved watching those and this is a perfect reincarnation.
The Fiero GT's were the BEST!
Especially the ‘88s.
Another beautiful Red car entering its way into its own series! Can't wait to see what's in store for it, and how it will look in the end!
Can’t wait to see things evolve. I owned one and really enjoyed it.
Always liked the Fiero. Definitely looking forward to see more Fiero content 👍
I love this kind of series!
Awesome Barn Find !!

I have an 88 formula and i love it. Im currently reatoring it and am about 70% done with it. Cant wait for more videos on this.
88 ForMula ! Greatest Fiero

I appreciate the insight bud! Thanks for watching!
The fiero sounded sooo good ngl! I'm excited to what's coming for this thing!
My uncle had an 88 formula. Sat under a tree for years and years. I miss that thing
When you said, "How's it goin'?", your voice cracked! Also, I LOVE the Pontiac Fiero, not the 1984 model because it was flammable.
Americans DO know how to make beautiful looking and sounding cars!
That Fiero is a cool car and those are hard to find in decent condition
Love that car real cool 😎
This is excellent! Love the Fiero! You scored a great car its all there, looks sweet. Keep up the video series awesome look forward to more!
Glad that the car finally starts!
I’d like to see a nice restoration with this 85 Pontiac, new suspension, Dakota digital gauges, new paint, restoration of the interior, something very similar to the Monte Carlo :)
Wow, safe this metal beauty!
She looks ready for road!
Sounds gorgeous
When's part 2 coming out?

Когда Весту снимешь?
I like the hood scoops. It allows more cool air for the spare tire.
Can't wait for this series thanks man
I would absolutely love to own one of these cars. Specifically a 1985 Gt model in Red with the rare t-tops and a manual transmission 😍. I’m super stoked for more fiero content!!!
sadly only the 1988 model year had factory t-tops
They have no power but DAMN I love the sound of those pushrod V6's.
Whatever creature was nesting in those pipes got a rude awakening lol
Heck yeah they did LOL!
Loved the video brother! Looking forward to the future videos on the series
Such an awesome video! I like the older GMs so it’s going to be hard to decide between the Jimmy , the k1500 and this one which was my favorite. I’d still love to have a truck identical to the step side though!
I like it!!!!!!
Have to admit it's been a while since I've watched the channel. That is about to change.
Awesome classic Pontiac fiero revival bro
Nice find. There is only one practical option. Bring it to the Gambler 500!
Those iron dukes are almost unkillable
That eas a fun video kyle thanks for uploading
Sounds like a V-10 that needs a tune up😂
That is one badass car ! Can't wait to see more of it 👍👍
13:36 I guess the same guy who owned Davidsfarm’s Eagle Talon must’ve owned a Fiero, too! 😂
I'd don't know are these Fiero worth it I'd think I'd want a Fiero. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cool, I always liked these 😀
Just leave it in the barn walk away 🤣😝
very nice video and love that fiero it sounds good
Imagine if someone was able to get hold of of a rocket engine or a jet engine and bolting it to the fiero 😂😂 like in F9.
Cool video saabkyle04 😎👍
A manual gearbox swap is a must.
What time of the year did you record this? It appears cooler than August. 🤔
I have an 84 Fiero and love it! Glad to see you are taking this on. And thanks to Ronald Finger for inspiring me to grab it and restore my own! What’s the other Fiero for? Parts?
Hey Kyle
Awsome car , awsome project, cool séries im gonna fallow allong 🤟 good job kyle as always

Nice
looks like its a Hodge pod of parts the tach is a four cylinder car one
Next video: we’re going to body swap a 60s GM cab and bed onto the Fierro
We demand 240sx content!
Cool car how long was it sitting for?
My guess is around 5 years
@@saabkyle04 it’s amazing how good it started up after sitting that long man 🤙🏼
Id like to be your friend. I have a station wagon that needs work. Lol
You should Ls swap the motor 😉
You should try see for some help from Ronald Finger, he recently restored one of these so he might have some valueable insight!
It's still not a 240sx video.
Kyle I saw another Fiero but a GT... Are you planning to build 1 out the 2 of them?... Make this one a GT?
No, my friend had the GT as a parts car, is way too far gone for saving. I'll end up using most of it to fix the SE, except for the ground effects. My friend prefers the non-GT notchback body.
Pretty neat. Classic in government eyes my eyes nah but they were neat little sport cars
You're friend with Marshall Eriksen ?
4 Cylinder gauge cluster.
Leather seats were not an option until 1988.
😎👍🏽
They have been trying to reach your friend about this car's extended warranty...
Más chulo que su "primo" el X 1/9.
Not a fan of Pontiacs, But the classic car looks cool(in my opinion).
The tach in the dash is from a 4 cyllinder Fiero, The V6 tach red lines at 6000 RPM and orange lines at 5500 RPM. Either the dash cluster or the motor aren't original to the car
Bumble Bee Yellow with Black Pinstripes,,get Pontiac Wheels
Restore?? How about a Cadillac northstar or another swap. ecotec? 2.7 turbo? ...LS is OVERDONE!
Ice video
Bitchin 👍
Kyle, Joe Biden needs a rescue too😂
Please remove those “scoops” that hang out behind the doors - those are absolutely hideous.
690cca's???.................LOL!..............That wont even budge my 5.7 Hemi..LOL!
Plenty for a 2.6L V6, that's the battery size the car calls for.
@@saabkyle04 tobad wayyyyy tobad this concept as a 2 seater never came back
@@saabkyle04 updates on the chevelle, the finale of the s10, the 240sx, and the 62 gmc
@@saabkyle04Hey Kyle. I’m a huge fan of your videos and I really like the reviews of every car you have posted on your RUclips channel. And I also want to wish you a happy birthday from me and my family.
A lot of questionable customizing done on that car. Personally I would have touched it with a ten foot pole.
Your not too smart. You never rev a 2.8 engine like that when you first get after sitting a while!!!!!!!
Saabkyle04
Nice
