  • George Christie is a well-known figure in the world of motorcycle clubs, particularly the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club. Born on April 26, 1947, Christie grew up in Ventura, California. His involvement with motorcycles and the outlaw biker culture began at a young age, eventually leading him to join the Hells Angels, one of the most infamous and influential motorcycle clubs in the world.
George Christie was fascinated by motorcycles and the rebellious lifestyle associated with them from an early age. This interest led him to become deeply involved in the biker community. Before joining the Hells Angels, Christie was a part of several other motorcycle clubs, gaining a reputation for his dedication and leadership abilities.
Christie's association with the Hells Angels began in the late 1970s. He quickly rose through the ranks due to his charismatic leadership and commitment to the club's values. Christie served as the president of the Ventura chapter for over three decades, making it one of the most powerful chapters in the Hells Angels organization. Under his leadership, the chapter expanded its influence and became known for its strong sense of brotherhood and loyalty.
Throughout his time with the Hells Angels, Christie faced numerous legal challenges. He was arrested multiple times on charges ranging from drug trafficking to conspiracy and racketeering. Despite these legal battles, Christie remained a prominent figure within the club and continued to advocate for the Hells Angels' way of life.
One of the most significant legal battles came in 2011 when Christie was indicted on charges of conspiracy and extortion. He eventually pled guilty to conspiracy charges and served time in federal prison. His legal issues and eventual imprisonment marked a turning point in his relationship with the Hells Angels.
Following his release from prison, Christie distanced himself from the Hells Angels. He focused on rebuilding his life and sharing his experiences with a broader audience. Christie became an author and public speaker, providing insights into the biker world and his time with the Hells Angels. His memoir, "Exile on Front Street: My Life as a Hells Angel... and Beyond," offers a detailed account of his life within the club and the challenges he faced.
Christie also created a one-man show, "Speak of the Devil," where he shares stories from his time with the Hells Angels, giving audiences a glimpse into the life of an outlaw biker. His transition from a high-ranking Hells Angels member to a public figure and storyteller highlights his ability to adapt and reinvent himself.
George Christie's legacy is a complex one. He is often seen as a symbol of the outlaw biker culture, embodying the rebellious spirit and brotherhood that defines clubs like the Hells Angels. However, his legal troubles and eventual departure from the club also illustrate the darker side of this lifestyle. Christie's journey from a dedicated club member to a public speaker and author reflects the multifaceted nature of his life and the impact he has had on the world of motorcycle clubs.
Despite the controversies surrounding his name, George Christie remains a significant figure in the history of the Hells Angels and the broader biker community. His stories and experiences continue to captivate audiences, providing a unique perspective on a subculture that is often misunderstood
    and romanticized.

I always look at George to be the epitome of a Hells Angel. He was always a positive figure that helped grow the club. It broke my heart to see how the club turned on him after dedicating his life to it. I don’t know what he did to deserve an out bad no contact. Until I hear of anything he did wrong, I will always have the utmost respect for this man.

George is a survivor. He would likely rise to the top of any place he landed.
Many folks can barely handle their own life, but George ran 5 businesses AND was president of Ventura TOO!
A truly unique individual and a consummate statesman, his message is of positivity.
To still be alive, telling the stories he does after being outed politically, proves his skills and maybe shows that the club still has respect for him on an individual level.

These clubs are very interesting. But they are deemed to fail because the criminal nature of their existence. They want power and respect from society however they want power and respect from within also which leads to internal turmoil. Deciding to be an “outlaw” comes with doing outlaw $hit and outlaw consequences.
