Tara, you truly are the Queen of Pearl cells! Beautiful!
Aww! Thank you so much Deborah! You are so sweet! ❤️☺️🙏🏻
This pour is so soft and serene. It just takes me to a very calm and peaceful awakened state. Lovely pour, Tara!
Thanks so much Jennifer! I’m so glad you like it. I feel that way too! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Love that you combined TLP's to make your own beautiful color.
Thanks so much Kim! It was fun to combine them to make my own shade. I love to play around that way. 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Thank you so much for supporting us! What a beautiful piece! I didn’t do the correct painting but I had fun! Thanks again!
Thanks so much Kathy! What do you mean correct painting? You made a dump and swirl pearl pour and made very good use of your drips! That’s a win! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
I love the colours and the painting turned out beautifully. Thank you so much for being the Guest Artist in the Collab! I love your work!☺❤
Thank you so so much Tonja! It was an honor to be asked and I had so much fun! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Another beautiful piece, my friend! ❤❤❤

Thank you so much Holly! You are such a dear! ❤️🙏🏻☺️
Absolutely fabulous, thank you for such clear, step by step instruction!
Thanks so much for the kind words Susan! And you are very welcome. I hope it helps! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry I have a question actually. I had mixed up transparent pearl mix and used TLP pigments. For some reason I didn’t get pearls like I usually do with the white pearl base and regular tube paints. Not sure what’s going on 🤔
Stunning art. Thank you.💫
Thank you so much Lorraine! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Love this one. You absolutely made it better w the touch ups, great eye Tara. 🩶🤎🩶

Love your pearl pours and have Pearl paint waiting to be used! I love your earthy tone pearls, just feels so grounded!! Love how you added the foggy look in this, beautiful!!
Thanks so much Louise! I appreciate your kind words more than you know! ❤️☺️🙏🏻
So very beautiful! The color palette is unique; I wasn’t sure I liked it as you were putting the colors down, but the results are fabulous! Thank you! 🤗💐
lol! I love your honesty Kathy! I almost always hate them as I am laying down the colors. I always say they go through an ugly stage. 😆 Thankfully that changes! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Very interesting painting, Tara - quite organic, which I love. ❤
Thanks so much Alice! I’m glad you like it. I got nervous for a second…😆❤️🙏🏻☺️
Hello my sweet friend Tara. You are so artistic. Happy New Year. Have a fabulous New Year. 🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thank you so much Carol! You are such a sweetheart! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Love your layered approach to this. It really added a lot of dimension.
Thank you so much. I still look at it on my studio wall daily and am not 💯 happy… I feel like it needs a little more dark layers added in and then the light overtop again. I will probably continue to critique it until the end of time….isnt that what we do as artists? 😉🤣❤️🙏🏻
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry LOL! That's EXACTLY what we do. My partner and I were JUST having this same conversation about one of his pieces. It'll never be good enough 😆

Aww! Thank you my friend! ❤️☺️🙏🏻
WOW! That custom color is incredible! That is too funny that I ended up doing a similar base coat without seeing this video first. Thank you for inspiring us for this collaboration
Thanks so much Tammy! Great minds right!? ❤️🙏🏻☺️
This is one BEAUTIFUL piece. Thank you for so much great information. Happy New Year. 🎉
Thank you so much Kelli! I hope it helps! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
Pretty!😍
Thank you Piggy! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hi Tara. I just want to support you ! Your art is so similar to what I do. I was just watching another RUclips video, you said the 24 carrot gold takes over, and i realized I have to dial it back also! Keep it up and thanks for your beautiful tutorials. I love your work. I love pearls too!
Thank you so much for your support! It really means a lot to me! Yea that 24K gold can be tricky to use in this technique particularly because of having to thin it so much you lose the binders. ❤️🙏🏻😊
Very pretty Tara💜
Thanks so much Penny my dear! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
10/10❤
Thanks Marla! ☺️🙏🏻❤️
I did one tonight and wow, my pearls got huge! It was like hungry, hungry hippos!
Hi Susan! Sometimes that happens. Do you measure out your paints for the recipe on a scale? That is the only way I get consistent pearls. Also, if you leave too much paint on the canvas the pearls will grow pretty big.
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry I’ll make a new batch and measure! Thanks!
hi Susan! I would use a scale and precisely measure. Do you feel like experimenting?! If you do measure out precisely:
3 parts floetrol
2 parts Behr 7300
1 part artist loft soft body
1 part apple barrel
1 part gac 800
.5 parts Liquitex pm
See if your pearls come out better…that is not the recipe I currently use but a recipe that has worked for me.
The recipe I currently use cuts down that recipe.
I use:
3 parts floetrol
1 part blickrylic titanium white
2 parts Behr 7300 (OR 1 or maybe 1.5 parts DecoArt satin enamel)
1.5 parts Golden Color PM (or GAC 800)
Water to thin consistency (usually several parts)
I typical measure my parts in ozs because it works better for me.
This has been the best and most consistent recipe for me…as long as I measure precisely. I do not like the inconsistency I get with artist loft and having to use apple barrel because it is very low quality paint. It makes my pearls very chalky looking and when you use too much of it the pearls dry cracky looking. Thats just my opinion though. Hope you find success!
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry thanks hon! You’re awesome!
Keep me posted! I’ll keep an eye out for your Facebook posts!
It is very fantastic and I loved it. I have tried that so many time and nothing. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Aww Laurie! I’m so sorry!
