    I was hoping for HL1, HL2 and HL: Alyx - that would be more like a triathlon. Changing from keyboard + mouse to VR gear would be cool and "triathlonlike" (kind of).

    Odd question- does Half Life count as a boomer shooter? It’s old, sure, but it doesn’t have the same sort of gameplay as the oldest or newest examples

      I think it qualifies as a boomer shooter, yes. It has more in common with them than with contemporary shooters. For example, it has health that doesn't regenerate on its own (as well as armor) instead of regenerative health like modern shooters. It also allows the player to carry an arsenal of weapons as opposed to only a limited amount. It also has little remnants of the era like puzzle/platforming segments that you wouldn't see in a contemporary shooter.
