I tried to figure out how this effect is being achieved, watched videos by Gleb Alexandrov about 3d volumetric nebulas, it's soo awesome techniqe! And so easy, basically we're making fractal noise in 3d space. 3ds max sadly will never achieve such new features, it's almost dead in a VFX theme. I've found a nebula generator by Mark Kingsnorth and plan to make some tests..
