Would I recognize Chainsaw Man to a new anime watcher?
No.
I would start them slow with the Fluffy Iseki.
Then they would watch the lighthearted “Redo of Healer”.
Followed up with the list of characters Sukuna has killed after showing them all the nice intro vids of those characters. Then after a simple Hells Paradise, it would be 30-40 Japanese historical dramas.
I am a terrible person. Why do I have friends?

*btw, 1,000 MAPPA animators did not make it from this set. The making of JJK S2 and finding out they have to make a Chainsaw Man movie lost us a lot of lives and unfinished S2 JJK episodes.

Surprise, Chainsaw Man, like Itadori (weakest MC ever) but the Chainsaw Devil is the most powerful devil ever. (I just don’t like Itadori, #SukunaForPresident )
Also this set has a lot of dead characters.

I enjoy having 75 boosters per set including sets within sets, promo cards of every card so nobody knows what cards are in play, and firing 1,100 ppl while focusing solely on EDH also known as a game-killer.
Yes chainsawman is a must watch! And the manga goes harder.
Really digging these Weiss openings keep them coming.
I would recommend chainsaw man for someone new to anime, the art style, the action, and the comedy.

I’ve loved the concept of Weiss, but haven’t really had the best of luck with it. I actually got reco’d Chainsaw Man by a friend who also got me into Solo Leveling, but imo not the best for new anime watchers.
Idk if id recommend it to a newcomer to anime lol i really hope im able to pick some of these sets up in the near future

Was thiking the same.. I'd maybe open these for 30-40$ a box but even then not a single one of those cards wow'd me at all.. Just feels like a cheap cash grab set sadly. :(

Chainsaw Man is one of favourite new animes. The manga is amazing as well! Cant wait for season 2 of the anime. I would highly recommend it for new anime fans!
Chainsawman is a very nice anime to watch when you are a big anime watcher, maybe not the best anime to start with. But love it! And loved the opening+

Yeah its not super complicated. Its a bit dark. But if you watched something like a Tarantino film or just edgy movies in general. It should gel well

I would recommend it! I absolutely loved it - it’s intense but also doesn’t feel boring like other slice of life anime’s can. The cards look really cool!
