Hello. I have been doing Electroyisis for 18 months I had fine light peach fuzz hair on my face which was not noticeable . I started doing Electroyisis which I regret doing . My face has a lot of Hyperpigmentation ingrown hairs and the hairs grows back thin and long which is very noticeable. Some hairs get stuck under the skin when it comes out it’s dark hair. The first 3 sessions I had my face looked horrible after that she suggested for me to do 2 laser treatment on my face to heal the area then resume back to electrolisis .I have more hair on my face now then i did before . I believe this works on coarse hair and actually makes peach fuzz hair worse.

Hi Reneka, I have to be honest... from what you're sharing, it sounds like your electrologist was not skilled at removing the peach fuzz. It is VERY delicate hair, and requires a highly insulated probe to remove the hairs safely and beautifully... especially if you do not shave it beforehand to make sure the hairs are in the optimal growth cycle. Whether the hairs are coarse or fine, electrolysis works on them... but as I say in my video above, usually I feel people should keep their peach fuzz because it is thousands and thousands of follicles and takes a VERY long time to get rid of permanently, because we also have to spread the work around very carefully. So, I hope this helps. You should NEVER laser your face, especially with peach fuzz. That was a terrible idea by your electro, and I'm sorry whomever it was suggested that. Lasering lighter hairs only makes them darker and coarser, especially on the face.

What are your thoughts on dermaplaning of the face to remove dead skin and peach fuzz?

@@c.tucker2247 as long as it's just the shaving/dermaplaning blade and not any tweezing, waxing, etc, you should be good!
