  • Are you alive? “Of course I am, or else I wouldn’t be reading this.” OK, yes, you are biologically alive. But are you alive on all levels of your being-emotionally, spiritually, morally, relationally? It’s not merely biological life Jesus offers, it’s zoe life, which is so much more.

I love the idea that we HAVE eternal life through acceptance of Christ, however it is only ours if we keep it and nurture it.
    It is ours to lose.

By way of further extension to what was presented by Ty and Nathan, I remember Pastor Dick Duerksen unpacking many years ago that zoe ultimately is/reflects the 'quality' of life that God experiences/has. And although God is the I AM (self-existent One) - an aspect of zoe that created beings inherently cannot experience - God nevertheless created humanity with the capacity to experience as much zoe as a created being can possibly experience. God held nothing back that could possibly be experienced by a created being! Thus, God created us with abundant (to the brim) zoe - and is in the process of restoring us from 'dead man walking' (Ephesians 2:1-3) back to zoe (John 10:10) - with its ultimate culmination when mortality puts on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:54). What an awesomely beneficent/agape God reflected in both His creation and redemption of ALL who are willing (2 Peter 3:9; John 3:16)!!!
Thanks Ty and Nathan. As someone who also undertakes word study to see/learn more of our amazing God, I am appreciating what you guys are preparing and presenting.

Messiah said that even “Blasphemy against Son of Man would be Forgiven”-His original message was “Repent and Believe the Gospel of G-d.” This was the same message as in the Jewish Tanakh, but much Doctrine seemed to evolve later creating the religion known as Christianity today.
