Thank you for sharing your personal loss. In the last 2 months I have lost 2 family members and two friends so I have had a hard time trying to be jolly and festive. I know we are not alone in our losses and so I'm hoping that time will help us heal our emotional wounds. Hopefully it will help other's know they are not alone by sharing common feelings.
Thats so sweet of you Violette, yes Christmas can be a really hard time for many. I personally find it really hard to be around my family at Christmas because its never a happy time but just a lot of toxicity and stress. Usually I escape to help at a charity on xmas day which always
helps but this year and last I wasn't able to. Thank you for being so candid.
I lost my biological father just before New Year’s Eve and four years later, my Mum just before Christmas Eve, last year. Now, my stepfather is in a hospital, so depressing, and I usually love the Holidays. For sure, we must think of our kids.

I wanted to say, I absolutely love and appreciate that you’re embracing and talking about not always being happy during the holidays. My husband lost his mom when he was 16 and so holidays are always a little sad to him bc he misses his mom. I have always loved the holidays and have been lucky to not lose anyone close to me yet, so it took me a while to adjust to being with someone who didn’t love the holidays like me. Now I know, a lot of people struggle during these times and I’m glad you’re being open and talking about it! I love you and your philosophy and your brand!
Ever since you posted this picture I've been obsessed with this look especially the dainty eye detail. I used to think red was not my colour because of my darker skin and never wore it but because of you I've perfected my red lip and what to pair with it. Now i firmly believe there is a red for everyone! Love this look💯

So, the look in itself is absolutely fantastic, but doesn't flatter the makeup artist's skin tone/foundation. Which is more important with minimal makeup. It would have worked better with other tones of the same or similar base colors. Of course, it might also just be the lighting that is skewing things to appear less fitting which isn't rare when it comes to makeup that looks great face to face but looks off on camera, and vice versa.
The description says that the lip pencil is from Sephora, but it's from Makeup Forever.
