Don,t forget Capt. Robert, if you use a small receiver battery you will still have flight controls after the engine batteries run dry. Great job as always.

"My hat goes off for you" two too. An amazing mod, great flying (if not timing 🤣) and one of the best RC cameramen on RUclips. 😁👌🏼

OMG another one. It sounds awesome. That's why the battery was hot, two 10 blade EDFs. And yes Pilot Robert you are correct. The incidence of the EDF units makes the difference. I remember the GWS ME 262 would pitch up when going to open wide throttle. And quite possibly the real 262 pitched up as well with the engines configured below the wing.
    Hobbyking's new EDF Fast Poke!
Dis, is it! That needs to be a t-shirt right there!
*Salute to pilots, viewers, and subscribers everywhere*

Just got home from work for weekend, and I see plumbing pipe and a sheet over something under a sheet. And now I find a Jet powered SLO Poke and Captain Blaz with squirrel in his mouth, oh I am having a giggle. This is the RP-003!
I will have to get beer...
    IT FLIES GREAT.
THE WALK OF GLORY! EDFs with plastic plumbing pipe. I think there is going to be a lot of SLO Pokes purchased.
Plastic soda pop bottles for nacelles this is a great idea.
Pilot Robert you are crazy, crazy like a fox. SALUTE!
    Funny but workable.

I agree with George Dawes when using twin fans.I use twin fan jets and use a separate battery for each edf.but what is most important is to use a separate battery supply to power your rx and servos.I always use a racing battery lithium ferrite LifeP04 2000 6.6volt rx only for my models. They last for ages and haven’t lost a model yet.Great to watch you two, banter is brilliant and attitude to model flying is first class.Looking forward to more classic videos.

You guys are great to watch so you must take care. Capt Blaz don't work to hard on hauling wood. Burning wood is great heat. Use a wood stove in the hanger myself. Cheers from U.S. in Tennessee thanks guys for the video keep flying you guys. Just having fun RC'n with friends.

Congratulations on a fabulous little jet flyer brothers,my observations are to up the 'C' rating of the battery to say 45 C even higher the reason the battery died Robert is that the burst rating of only 35C is not high enough for the ESC's what happened was the ESC went into safety mode so you had enough receiver power left, when you buy lipo's go for the highest C rating you can get, they are more expensive but well worth it.
The Fast Poke Me.002Z really looks good in the air and its worth fixing up to give it another try with a better uprated battery, nice flying ion a very interesting little project that you have made there, love those thrust tubes !

Great Job of engineering and flying. Looks like a lot of fun. Even the emergency landing was perfect. Keep it coming.
