I used to live in St Albans way back in the 1960s residing at 319 Hatfield Road and attending Beaumont Secondary School... A beautiful town which holds many fond memories for me...

WOW... I went to college.. Hertfordshire College of Art and Design as it was at the time.. on Old London Road (flats or "housing units" now I believe) we're meeting up there for our very first reunion, some 23 years on, and this video has brought back so many fond memories I can't begin to list them,,,, Thank you so much for the time and effort to make this wonderful vid of a town that I consider to be my home town away from home :0) thank you..

Andy we live in Southend now but loved your pictures of St Albans where we lived before. I was wondering if you know the origin of the view in the first frames of the Morethan advert that's on the television (2012). I guess if anyone would know it you would. Thanks.

@MultiRoutemaster Most locals find the old photos interesting, I would think, having been away for fourty four years, you are just as interested in the present ones.
