Water proof protection on the phone existing in this mobile
I still remember I took my first ever phone Micromax A65 watching your video. Back in those days I used to watch iGyaan videos while eating food or just for get more insight into smartphones of those days.
From Micromax I shifted to Karbonn, then Xolo, then Motorola, then Xiaomi, then Oneplus and not finally watching this video on my iPhone 14 Pro, and before owning one watching your video of that device.
Whoa Times flies, but still your videos as still accurate, precise and to the point.
Finally someone is testing the one big thing which actually matters and the basic functinoality of a phone, the call quality! how many youtube reviewers are doing this now-a-days!

Absolutely. The most basic and important part of a phone is the call quality. Most reviewers barely mention it in passing, and many don't mention it at all.

@mohanramadurai6496 I barely use a mobile device for voice calls. It's personal assistant, communication hub, but voice services are on bottom of my needs.
@@mohanramadurai6496 Honestly, call quality is most often very similar and decent enough for most people on both budget and high end phones. Apart from that I'm sure many people hardly use their smartphone to call anymore, I know I don't (and I just noticed the comment above me as well). As long as the sound quality is decent enough that you can normaly understand the person you're calling with it's okay.
I just bought the Nokia G42. Your video and photo comparison in this video clearly shows that Nokia holds very well against even the highly expensive iphone 14 camera. Nokia photos and videos are a bit more saturated and have a cooler colour tone but overall, I felt the resolution, sharpness and details are not bad. Comparing the price, the camera is great. Definitely a great buy for people who are budget conscious, like me and even for people who want to get good phone camera in a budget. Even the front camera is quite good, although the unnecesary vignette it puts on front facing camera portraits is irritating.
Nokia has bought out a winner this time. I will definitely recommend this phone to people who want to get a good phone in a budget.

Indeed it's true. Nokia has worked on algorithm, main camera has Sony Sensor. This phone camera can outshine many high end devices in colour accuracy and tone if user know how to use Pro mode of camera
I'm still using Nokia 8.1 for photo capture. And it's awesome till date that can even beat today's 30-35k phones in the comparison of camera (colour accuracy , capturing of colour variation, Bokeh , clarity).

Nokia. Pls get it right going forward. From being the king of the keypad phones era to producing lacklustre smartphones, it’s not a good feeling. I’ve used maximum Nokia keypad phones and I hope to see a giant comeback soon ✌️

I bought my 1st Android phone after igyan's review in 2011. It was Motorola DEFY.
I am getting this for my Mom. She is still using Nokia 5.1 Plus from 2018. She loves the Nokia brand for being simple and easy. I was going for moto but when it comes to updates Nokia is really good. Moto devices under 15K will only get 1 OS updates whereas this device will get 2+3 Years of software support.
I'm using 6.1 plus since 2018

A detailed and comprehensive review. Unlike most youtubers who are trying to make their videos snazzy because there is no substance in their content. Your review on the other hand emphasizes the basic points pivotal to buying a phone. Kudos to your entire team for such an exceptional review. Nokia is certainly not producing high end phones with best specifications but at least they are producing durable phones with decent specifications for average consumers. I have used a Nokia all my life. I still feel nothing beats a Nokia when it comes to practicality. Thanks a lot for the review once again.

In the era where everyone is providing curved display or punch hole display, Nokia is behaving like Internet Explorer.
This phone is garbage but, curved screens are unnecessary.
Hope Nokia continues to bring smartphones like G42, next year also, but with :

Curved screens are useless. Cause whenever you hold them with one hand, one of your fingers accidentally touches the border of the screen. There's a reason iphones aren't that curved cause functionality is important

My personal favourite is Water Drop notch but i support having FHD + display. And also by seeing environment i think screen protector not provided is good . After buying it we will but simply tempered glass

I agree this phone is good and pricing is also good. But Nokia has done this thing so late. Fact is this people who really like Nokia are almost forgot Nokia for example last year i had Nokia G21 which is nice phone and my friends colleagues and cousin everybody says to me that "Nokia abhi bhi Phone bnata hai 😅"
So Nokia is done so poor marketing in India for last 5 years plus there are no tv commercials of Nokia phones like back then. But i am still disappoint for the price of X30 which is good competitor of Nord 3ce.

It's difficult because in Nokia smartphones, you get zero bloatwares and pure stock Android experience and therefore, Nokia doesn't get any money from any third party.
Also, Nokia doesn't compromise with quality of its smartphones to sell at lower price. That's the standard of the company and they will never lower their standard because that's the identity of Nokia and that's what Nokia is known for.
In comparison, other companies give high specs because they install many bloatwares and show unwanted ads and that's how other companies balance their profit margins but this is not the case with Nokia.
I personally hate bloatwares because there's a risk of leaking of private data and they acquire more storage. And that's the reason, Nokia smartphones for me are best and not overpriced because 1. They look more premium for their price; 2. They are more durable and safer to use than other smartphones.

Nokia is really making me turn from a loyal fan to a hater. Recently purchased C32 for 9.5k for basic use.
I just wanted a phone that could manage phonecalls, texting, some internet browsing and music.
- The phone is laggy, worse than a 2015 phone. It's shocking
- It reaches terrible speeds on Wifi, and most apps don't work on Wifi. Again, pathetic
- The audio jack output is like a 1000 rs feature phone, probably even worse.
I can't believe how low Nokia has fallen. After using 8.1 and 8.3, I expected them to get the basics right, but they are a shadow of their former self now
Why we expect phone manufacturer to bring the phone design copying from others.

I Had a very bad experience with Nokia 6.2. First 5 months were really good but after that many issues started to pop up like the camera and flashlight kept crashing, had a display issue where instead of swiping it gave me a touch response, ghost screen and screen burn-in were also there. The sad part is I couldn't claim a warranty due to COVID-19 pandemic. After 3.5 years of struggle I'm finally going to buy Oneplus Nord CE 3 this year during sale.

@@shivamvidrohi I purchased a Galaxy S22 worth 70k and guess what the display was completely water damaged within a year....before you pop in with a conclusion let me tell you I take very good care of my phone have a Nokia 7.2 which is 6 years old and still no issues...you know the funniest part here I went to the service center and they told me that because you were making calls using this phone the sweat has damaged the display...An IP68 phone that I bought to make calls was damaged because I made calls...also the whole paint is peeling off like a super cheap Chinese phone....so people saying Nokia is done now need to understand Nokia is still a brand that creates robust and sturdy devices hence the price to spec sheet(and not performance) ratio is not present

The best thing about Nokia smartphones is that they run on stock Android and there are no bloatwares and yet it's competing. That's impressive. ❤
Apart from that, a 5000 mAh battery is more than enough because Nokia G42 is running on stock Android, has zero bloatwares and great software optimisation. So, there's less RAM and CPU usage and longer battery life. That's why Nokia G42's 5000 mAh battery should last as long as a Chinese smartphone with 6000 mAh battery would.
Also, Nokia customer service is way more better than Chinese companies. So, if you get a problem with your Nokia device, the Nokia service centre team solves the problem in one day unlike the Chinese companies that take one week to a month to repair.
When it comes to pricing, it is better to take every factor into account, not just specs.
I am a Nokia fan but the selfie camera, APU and Screen technology need serious improvements.

I think it's a good phone! It lasts for more than 3 years with updated software, good battery health. The price is decent as Nokia never did like this before. Take care of your FHD+ display offered by other brands, as Nokia phones can survive minor drops, atleast replacement is less expensive for HD. Just kidding 😂.
I have it already, Checked everything. The HD+ lcd display of this phone is better than FHD+ lcd offered by phones under 20k. It's not that heavy, with a great battery, good quality screen, awesome loudspeaker (single speaker). The camera app has so many features to try on (Photos taken in good light look good). Smooth performance, 3 years of software update. Max 1080@60 P for all videos (not vloggers phone, but for a data saver). 90 hz refresh rate. Support High games but I don't recommend that as it destroys the device performance. Not a phone for unemployed 😅.
