Im a Filipino who has lived in Aust for 25 years! Glad to see this video as I have lived in Osbourne Park / Tuart Hill for a long time. Used to walk in Wannero rd to go to Dog Swamp Shopping to buy my groceries! Fortunately now Im heading for retirement and dont have to worry about the cost of living! I worked hard and save for 20 years and now I have my own house (fully paid) and car, have part time job and still saving money. Bonus: I have an Aussie GF living with me and still have few hundred thousand dollars in the bank. My advise: work hard and save, dont drink or smoke and dont go to Casino and the most important thing: Go to Church and pray regularly!!!

very interesting to see a Filipino's point of view for cost of living in Perth. You are doing well to only spend $200 per week on groceries. One day if ever you have a car, have a look at getting a Costco membership. You can get a nice big roast chicken for $7 which can sort out your dinner for a couple of days. All the best on your Aussie adventure!
It's true that Costco's roasted chickens are always sold out coz they're both affordable and good. I've also found that some other items there are cheaper.

Sir yong acomodation ba hatiin yong rent if ilan kau sa isang bahay, so mas nkakatipid kong medyo marami kau sa isang bahay.
Usually po fixed sya regardless kung may nagrerent sa ibang room. for example po $400/week and may 3 rooms sa house.
if man 2 rooms lang yung occupied or 3 yung occupied, same pa rin po usually. ☺️
400/ week so 400x5 = 2,000 aus 💲
