Thank you for posting this absolutely beautiful restoration masterpiece. It truly brought tears to my eyes. The music was most appropriate to the video also. I only wish more people would respect and restore more historic structures instead of tearing them down.

On its 11th hour. A piece of heritage brought back from the brink. Well done and the video was excellent, thanks.

Brought tears to my eyes... Awe the castle has found love again. Cause that's what happened, Love and a boat load of money brought it back. May it be protected and safe for many many more decades to come.

It's people with great vision who save these jewels from ruin. They are heroes. Saviors of our tangible history.
That poem in stone is magnificent!

Absolutely stunning. The renovation managed to return the elegance without removing the feel of the castle. It is wonderful seeing some of these restorations, but when there is history that is replaced with the present, whether in style, furnishings, conveniences, it seems to detract from the original structure. This restoration was superbly done. The photos, before and after, were beautiful and told the story perfectly. Thank you for sharing.

She is so incredibly beautiful and graceful. Honest to gods in my mind's eye I could picture her on a winter's evening with snow on the ground and golden candle light gleaming from many of the windows...so incredibly inviting and warm. I hope she is as loved as she deserves to be.

From the interior videos I saw of Montesgur it was simply a "Keep" attached to a longer section with two floors and the stable area beneath that full of large rocks. But it has high walls! It would have a bugger of a time getting into the place. You can see they had to use a catapult to bust that top section of wall.

Amazing! I dream about being wealthy enough to not only own something so grand but also to restore something this historical. If they people who own this place need to adopt a son, I am up for adoption, lol. This place, the things dreams are made of.....
