I was there. Beastquake.
9:25 is an iconic moment. He got fined for not doing a press conference, so the next game he sat in front of all of the press and whenever someone asked him a question he just repeated "I'm just here so I won't get fined" over and over.
the "12" also refers to the home fans of the Seattle seahawks because they're so loud it disrupts the opponents offence and acts as a 12th defender. it can get insanely loud at their stadium
its very fun to go to lumen field for our games nothing like that noise
Correct. They have great fans. They are almost as loud as Chiefs fans. 😎😎
@@Tijuanabill”almost” lmao yall have a stadium designed for it to be louder! It’s not fair!
@@Diiixiiinormus That's just marketing hype. It's a bunch of seats facing a field, just like every other stadium.
@@Tijuanabill but we have a big ol’ escape for sound in our stadium. It’s called the hawks nest and it absolutely doesn’t reverberate sound the same as “every other stadium”
Got in got rich got out 😂😂
Started with Buffalo spent most of his career with seattle. Then i believe he did two seasons with his home team in oakland. Then played one game for Seattle after retirement. Hes loved in Seattle.
11 year career for a running back is pretty long. A running back's peak years are usually early 20s. It's rare to see a running these days go into their 30s but it does happen like with Adrian Peterson.
And also Frank Gore
@@Lewis9700 oh yeah frank gore went on forever
@@ImPhenom Frank was very underrated IMHO.
@@Lewis9700 I agree he was solid for a very long time.
Half the good ones never make it out of college, unfortunately. Or if they do, they are hiding devastating injuries that prevent success in the NFL.
That first career pass touchdown was such a dot bor
watch Mike Alstott the A-train. Impressive power running
One Name Barry Sanders .....
Also, when will the people rise up, and insist they do away with franchise tagging dudes more than once? He would have played more, if it was a team with a similar offense.
Clay Matthews, bubba franks, amahn green
9:59 the twelves is the crowd in the stadium. 11 players on the field but the loud crowd makes for a defacto "12 man" or 12th player on the field..
Thanks for the explanation
You should check out randy moss
It's not all strength and toughness. He is executing mechanically at an elite level, from the textbook. Football is hundreds of complicated techniques happening at all times. Players who can create, are doing basic mechanics well, not abandoning them, generally speaking.
Sometimes folks unfamiliar think the pads are protection, for men who aren't tough like Ruby players. No. Rugby players are tough too, but the pads themselves are weapons, and they permit the player to use their whole body as a weapon. They can't use the helmet anymore as a weapon, but that is very new. All that hard plastic doesn't feel great, when it hits you. It's not protecting the person being hit, even though they have their own.
One of my favorite players on my favorite team absolute monster
I think you’ll be impressed.
I’m late to the comments but I recommend Barry Sanders and Dion Sanders. The two most electric players to ever touch the turf
Other worldly balance.
The 12s cheered and stomped their feet so loud it triggered the Richter Scale!💚💙💚💙 No man EVER took him down by himself EVER!
its not a beast mode highligjt until they show him lighting his blunt with the raiders torch.
you gotta do Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.
I want to know why Marshawn Lynch, a VERY SPECIAL RUNNING BACKS IN THE HISTORY OF RUNNING BACKS who played for the Seattle Seahawks, is garnering all this attention here in RUclips Land. This is the 6th reaction video that I've seen and watched in this past 7 days! It's been AWESOME! You're going to like this!
If you aren't down with BEASTMODE you know NOTHING ABOUT A TOUGH YOUNG MAN WHO CAN CARRY HALF A TEAM ON HIS BACK. THEY CAN'T STOP HIM!!!
You should watch Maurice Jones Drew highlights
He unretired and scored a touchdown for the Seahawks in a playoff game in 2019, retiring again after. All of Seattle's runningbacks were injured and he came in clutch even after being a little washed up.
2 words....... Jim Brown
I always have said. You do not want to be between Marshawn and a touchdown.
Barry Sanders, the GOAT
NO question. I don't care who it is, I can't respect any list without Barry on top.
Make sure to check out Legion Of Boom Seahawks highlights. One of the nastiest defenses in NFL history
Have you reacted to Reggie White yet?
It might be cool to react to some of the NFL combine- its like the tryouts pre draft
You should check out Tevon Austin in "Only One (Tavon Austin Senior Highlights)". It's a highlight reel of his WVU senior year, before he went to the NFL.
ill put it on the list thanks for the suggestion
If you like Lynch. Then I must suggest you locate and watch Larry Csonka. He once got flagged for roughness as a running back. He knocked a defender out with a forearm... He too is in the NFL Hall of Fame!!! Sonk was on the only NFL team to have a perfect season in 1972. They went 17-0. Amazing!!!!!
he doesn't play anymore but he did for a long time to compared to his contemporaries. the amount of damage running backs take week in and week out causes them to have some of the shortest careers
hes a free agent never retired like levion bell and todd gurley
@@SSRPhantom But he wouldn't take a contract. It's not like nobody would want him, just nobody would want him at his former pay rate.
Definitely check out Derrick Henry, the best running back currently playing. His long runs and stiff arms are legendary
He’s good but there are 2 backs better rn
Derrick Henry is not all that
Another incredibly fun Seahawks player to watch from the Legion of Boom era is Richard Sherman
You also have to realize Marshawn played during a time in the NFL when you weren't allowed to celebrate. If you notice most times when he scores a TD he will grab his crotch. That was his little celebration that they let him get away with. Though this one time during the game at 8:20 against Arizona they flag it as a taunting penalty and Marshawn was fined for it. The AZ player #31 is Antonio Cromartie and all throughout the game they both were trash talking each other. Because of that the called it as taunting.
The "I'm just here so I won't get fined" part is because in the NFL contract you are required to do press. He skipped a few and got ridiculous fines for it. So he got clever.
I still don't even like the current rules in the NFL or college. They should embrace the emotional moments, not hide them away.
He's had a few of his own "shows" you can find on youtube where they send him into different situations which are awesome. He has one of the best personalities out there. He's on a reality show about being on Mars that is on Fox here in the states now.
Most people have Lynch somewhere around #20 in their list of all-time best running backs. The first tier (top 4) are (in no particular order) Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith. Adrian Peterson also deserves strong consideration for the top tier.
20 sounds like disrespect, until you start making the list. There have just been so many greats.
Running backs take a lot of punishment, so yes 11 years is a long career. Other positions, like quarterback can often play 15 years or more as it is more about intelligence and experience than it is athleticism (all are good athletes, it's relative to other NFL positions). Check out Walter Payton a.k.a. "Sweetness"
You need to check out some of Adrian Peterson's highlights, dude was a top 5 all time running back
please check out derrick henry, he’s by far the most powerful running back in the league today. guy is an absolute DOG
He had a few good years, but he is down on the list of the best ever running backs.
