As a man in the Church, I really really really appreciated the insight that this wonderful sister brought about womanhood. I now have a deeper, even grateful respect for our Heavenly Father's daughters!! They are why we are here.

Interesting! I did not realize what is NOT talked about in Genesis, and that Methodius (ca. AD 250) was the first one to use the term "Fall" to describe what happened in the Garden of Eden.

FYI - Your slide showing the classical Christian view and restoration view of the fall shows Moroni at 600 BC, but it should read AD 600. Great discussion!

Just a little thing to correct, in the first graphic Moroni is 600 AD, and not BC

For me, its not Free Agency, its Freedom to Choose. Agent or Agency implies there are consequences. What are they, Who do they effect, so.on.The Consequences are not free. They are impactful.

It has always been the role of women to make personal sacrifices to the betterment of others, especially in the role of mothers. (Not that every woman takes up that role.) Eve was the one who was willing to sacrifice her personal "paradise," to live a harsh life outside of the Garden, in order that all of us could come to earth. Eve has historically been seen as the sinner, the weaker character when in fact it is just the oppostie.
