I have the Fabulous EMX Extreme 750 dual motor 60 V and I love it. that was my first ebike I ever bought and I’m so glad I bought a dual motor. And I am 70 yrs old.😊

E-Cells also has released their beautiful step through version as well! There are definitely a few others out there besides E-Cells, but for me I will only go with dual suspension.
It sounds like the new wired cruiser (step through) will also be a full suspension. We can only wait and see
@@RydinNStyle E cells from suspension, frame strength, front fork and they even waterproof the controller are far better then wired as well as price and service they have. Wired has a lot of catching up to do!
Dual suspension comfort can't be beat. Even with a suspension seat post, it can't be matched and is a good investment IMO

ECELLS 5 star has 1 inch lower stand over height than freedom. Also offers 24 inch wheels for shorter riders for free upgrade. 5 star also offer free upgrade for 19 inch frame for tall riders. Unlimited colors available and suspension upgrades. 1st batch are arriving as early as today. Watch for the pics and reviews.
Wow, those are some awesome options that will fill a huge gap left to be desired by riders that don't fit a certain bike frame size. Excellent info!

I am 5'3" do you have any idea if even with a 24" wheel I would be uncomfortable?
@FullaTeeth I think, based on a 2" shorter rim, the seat may be at around 30-31 inches from the ground. It turns out ECells also has a step through frame, which may be more comfortable for you with 24" rims.
The ability to customize your bike is a great feature from this brand.
I ordered a wired freedom a few months back, and then I eventually got tired of waiting because I'd heard that other people had waited months and months on theirs, so I canceled my order. The next day I got an email saying that my bike was available and ready to ship. If I hadn't ordered an Onyx cty2 overnight that night, I would have definitely bought the wired freedom, and now I think about it like it was the one that got away. I'll never get over that crap!

You’re not missing out on anything. The wired is a clone of the ecell and it’s not even a good clone. They overheat. Actual garbage. Let it go 😊
I have to respectfully disagree. My experience tells a different story. I own the 2024 Freedom and Cruiser models from Wired eBikes, and they’ve been nothing but reliable, no overheating or issues as mentioned. It’s also worth noting that Wired eBikes aren’t clones of eCells models. Wired focuses on single motor, high power eBikes, whereas eCells typically goes for dual motor setups. Not to mention, the five star hasn't even officially been released yet. If eCells is truly great, it should be able to stand on its own, just like Wired has. There’s really no need to compare them unless one can't shine without the contrast. Let’s try to keep our discussions based on the facts and appreciate what each brand brings to the table on its own.

Good Job! 1st batch of 5 stars are hitting front door steps as early as today. 5 star has 1 inch lower stand over height on their standard 17” frame than the wired freedom. You can also order smaller 24” wheels on the 5 star at no additional charge which is great for shorter riders. ECELLS also offers a free upgrade for a 19 inch frame for tall riders. Rear hub motors are made by the same company and are steal reinforced nylon gears. ECELLS offers free shipping and no tax outside of Nevada (tax) and includes a lot of extras. ECELLS also offers a front basket and has water bottle mounts on the frame. ECELLS also offers free larger front brake rotor than the freedom. Dual battery and front and rear suspension upgrades available. You can pick from hundreds of color options on the 5 star and submit code from a website for $100 upgrade. You can get tannus liners installed, different colored wheel options.

@@bertcandee3188Ecells refers you to a website with hundreds of different color samples you can choose from with almost every color you can imagine to pick from. It is a $100 dollar upgrade to custom choose the color of your bike outside of the colors they offer. Standard colors are black gloss/Matt, blue, orange, camo, and red. Different wheel colors can be customized also.
There's actually a 4th While it's not a 60 volt system the company Philodo recently came out with a Dual Motor, Dual Suspension, Dual Battery 26 inch fat bike for only $2100 through their Amazon distributor on a 48 volt system Called the Jumbo
That is a game changer. The competition is real and it's getting pretty steep. Word around the campfire is the new Wired bikes will also have dual batteries. This may become the new standard.
How can you not mention that ECells has a step through version? It has a suspension and frame that has been in production for years? Has a potted controller- (unique in the market today)?

I didn't notice that on the website as an option, but I did mention the caveat of fully customizable lol
Rachel at ECells told me that the step through version called the Step Star will be a 24" bike. I called twice and got the same answer both times.
You missed several important differences like warrantee of the 5 star and the shipping

I currently have the Furious RW. I'd need to compare the Freedom and Five Star by riding and reviewing both. I'm waiting to hear back from Ecells

I have the Road Warrior XT AWD....love it...over 700 miles since Sept 2023. Fast... Lampro is a great owner. The new bike....much better than my version. It seems like only the smaller brands are willing to be brave enough to release a bike that will break the law. It's a damn shame, but it's a great opportunity for those who are willing to do it!

You didnt say anything about the Ecell letting you pick a 19" frame and they have free shipping. ou just put this out two weeks ago so why do you have the 2023 models of the wired bikes!! The 2024 Cruiser has a new frame also the wired bikes both come with two batteries at the same price of $1999
Yes, this video was before Wired released the updates.
Also, this video wasn't to uplift one brand over the other, it was just to get people to go to the different websites and shop around. It's what I did as a potential customer.
Only reason i havent got one is to long of a wait ,i speced my Porsche from germany,got it in south Florida in 6o days tbese bike companies are un real ill wait 7days not 2 mon ths
Definitely a waiting game. It builds the anticipation but might also cost some customers too.

@RydinNStyle a side by side comparison with equal weight riders would be great to see. If i remember correctly the wired freedom had some updates for the 2024 model, which increased its top end speed a little. 2024 Wired= 40-41 mph, 5 star = 38-39 mph. From the reviews i have seen. I wouldnt mind being wrong since i just ordered a 5 star.
@@randallhack4477 I will be getting one of the first updated Freedoms and Cruisers once they're released in late May. I also reached out to David Cleveland to see about possibly getting a Five Star to review, we'll see. Then I'd be able to do a side by side and use myself as the rider for both.

I do not agree. Fabulous just released their new Furious brand EMX Ultimate with AWD dual 750 watt motors with a 60V 20 Ah main battery and a 60V 15 Ah rear rack battery. Brian @ Citizencycle just did a review of this bike (without the 2nd battery) and it seemed to have more power off the line and he got it up to 40 mph. It has the 203mm rotors on both wheels and Tektro Dorado 4 piston hydraulic breaks. Dual suspension 20" X 4" tires. 52 tooth front wheel crank, 11-32T 8 speed shimano acera derailer & many more features. Your can switch between the front & back motors or go all wheel.

News Flash!!!!! Upgraded Wired Freedom puts Dave Cleveland of E-Cells in mental hospital. Extra 15 ah rack mounted battery, 45 amp contoller pulling well over 3000 watts, thru axle fork with 4 piston brakes on 203 mm rotors. Oh, and they also have a full suspension step thru with same specs. $1999 plus shipping or pick it up for free in Chicago. 😮

Are the Wired's Gemma brakes any good? And are their Patriot Systems controllers any good? Never heard of either of them. That's the only think keeping me from buying right now.
