The only thing I disagree with is the uphill one. It makes traversing terrain a breeze and makes you glide over most obstacles without getting stuck. It'll save stam and make you faster most of the time to boot. Of course if you're in a perfectly flat area like salt flats or even grand plains, LDR is better, but anywhere else it's best in slot imo. Great for escape or draining the stam of things chasing you. Or chasing things trying to flee you lol
shove is actually way stronger than I expected it to be. The actual shove is meh, but its speed is based on your current speed. Its a little speed boost when sprinting. If you use shove while sprinting, immediately let go of sprint and press crouch, you'll be in bipedal mode while still moving at the shove speed, and can use this to do a burst front kick to snipe dinos that are just a bit faster than you. I'd say its best in a group tho, since solo you'll probably want long distance runner just to give you the best chance of outrunning allos that you can get.
Also to add the other calls are insane, the combat calls are best with something like an eo or berta that has its own buff since they stack with any other buff calls, but the survivalist calls are absurd. Hustle has always been decent, but the damage mitigation call is easily the strongest call on lamb now, especially for solo lamb. It with armor tail, lone survivor, and long distance lets you deny allo fights pretty reliably, and honestly lets you just say no to everything thats too strong for a lamb to be fighting. It is a bit boring to choose flight every time tho
Need to keep a count on how many times he said "Rodeo" or "Big/Massive Rodeo" in this vid, So happy that the Lambulance is finally super viable (Great Video as always Gunn)
Idk what you mean by "super viable," either its balanced or op lol and imo it's rodeo kick is pretty op at least with its wacky hitbox compared to how far its legs actually kick
My build is every time braced legs and musician... solo and as single. Im lamb, main...since years. Think how often do you run uphill and if u have to run away und jump from a smaller cliff u have 10 percent less fall damage and downhill 10 percent faster. Thats 3 buffs at once.
Exactly. You get it. Easily the best buff especially since it’s the only dinosaur with that buff right now. Instant escape card if you grow around big hills.
Lambeo has now become a real good dino to play as, have you seen now that dasp has become better than before with unlinked head slots gosh i love being Dasp even more
I would change long distance runner with shove, not to attack players, but for movement. Shove maintains momentum so if something is running away I can pop it, and kick immediately after. It’s also good to dodge attacks. I use armored tail because I have rodeo kick, or I can dodge and turn to face my opponent. Solo, I use survival calls, because having better trot speed is nice since you can have it on 24/7, and if I’m loosing the fight and need to run, I use beacon to mitigate damage and run away.
One thing I found with lamb is that if you're bone broken and you use x turning while stance switched you'll move faster than without x turning or stance switch it negates bone break somewhat but your still pretty slow I also think rodeo kick can hit twice on some occasions
Honestly, using shove to close the gap, followed by a rodeo and then a tail attack to make distance; has been a great strat for me. Shove can be used to u-turn or turn a 90, so makes you feel more mobile in combat getting yourself in a better fighting position. The tail attack is good in situations where you bait a heavy to defend itself with it's back to a ledge too. Great fun!
I'd argue that if you're fighting heavy bleeders then going with survival or offensive calls might be better as you basically cannot heal if you are fighting a good bleed dino like Conc or Allo whereas at least if you run the other calls you can buff yourself at the right times to survive these engagements.
I use Dunking kick when I’m not fully grown because I can easily escape predators in water and then I switch to the normal kick once I’ve grown enough to defend myself. one time I was attacked by two adult carnivore and was able to escape solely because I was able to run to water and negate most of the damage with survival calls the survival calls are also really good and I think I’m better for solo players want you stop looking from a pure combat perspective you’ll see that survival calls are really good because lamb out of hunger and thirst really really fast survival calls negate that literally allow you to just opt out of a fight whenever you want
one tip for players that are outnumbered by similar sized enemies, go with lambei, hidrodynamic hide, armoured tail and survival calls, if you cant win a fight you pop up the beacon call and jump into water since you will be very fast swimming (use wathever leg slot you want)
Personally I usually like to rock with smth I like to call the “Horse Build”: Lone survivor, rodeo kick, armored tail, combat/healing calls, front kick, shove, resilient scales. Prob gonna switch shove to long distance tho
about those places that you mentioned where Lambeo can't live (like wp): If you are just trying to survive and not get killed, the guiding beacon survival call can absolutely help with that. Especially on wilderness peak. I kid you not, you can survive a fall from the top of Mount Everest if you have Guiding Beacon active.
Been lamb main since launch and have elder lamb on some servers and my best build is the grace legs rodeo armor bleed hide line survive and the calls I swap around all are useful
Hey man, you might not see this but if you do I just wanted to personally thank you for these videos. ❤ My boyfriend and I have just recently gotten into Path of Titans together, as paleontology is a special interest of mine, we both love video games, and he wanted to get involved with said special interest of mine by combining the two, but neither of us have ever played PVP games before. These videos make it a lot easier for us to just vibe on the servers we like, but also defend ourselves should we get attacked. They've been helpful! Thank you!
You’re severely undervaluing the survival calls. The turn radius boost you get from hustle makes a noticeable difference in combat against smaller dinos. You said it yourself, bleed is a hard counter to lambeo, so hustle and the reduced hunger drain calls being active allow you to better fight back against bleeders in battles of attrition.
Shove is awful for most other creatures. Not bad with Lamb. It has a variety of uses, like a dodge, to catch up and combo with stand and kick to deal massive unexpected damage, and to knock stuff around pretty much like a Pyc. Great knockback, can use on hills to traverse quickly with low stam cost, used multiple ways in fights. All round great choice for the Lamb. Also, with tail attack, if you swapped for reduced dmg on the tail, during rodeo kick and back kick, the damage taken is severely reduced, making a good chunk of fights much easier. Rodeo already does great knockback like the tail and does massive dmg. It's pretty cool to try. Healing call I wouldn't say is over preforming anymore. Not with the intense amount of bleeders they've placed in the game along with how they've buffed bleed. One attack from most bleeders is enough to stunt your healing calls completely. Removing half the bleed isnt going to cut it the majority of the time as Lamb just simply isn't fast enough to out run a good bit of the dinos out there. Def don't know the survival calls. Hustle can now be used during combat, has a 5 min timer, and also boosts turn radius by 20% along with trot speed. Honestly couldn't care less about the trot, but that turn is so good! Guiding Beacon is well more powerful than it should be! It SEVERELY Reduces the amount of damage (and I mean all damage). This includes fall damage folks. For. Two. Whole. Minutes. Somewhat of a downside is you can't use any knock back or deal any damage in return. But you literally can sit in the lake with a load of Sarcos full charge biting you and you can laugh in their face as they fail to tickle you. Great way to get your stam back, get distance to heal, take off bleed, drink and feed up, you name it. And lastly, when you're in the middle of a big fight, and you or your group are in need of some food or water, slowed metabolism is great. The higher your food and water, the quicker you heal, the less you have to worry. You may even start to starve your opponents if they are dumb. If your opposing group is low on either food or water, they will send people to get righted, which means less to fight, which means better chances. Food for thought.
If I’ve learned anything from your videos and playing lots of stego is that stego just you tears most anything and everything or at least can survive anything cause you can just walk away and not much can choose to tank it
You’re definitely sleeping on shove, it can be used for movement or as a fairly effective knockback tool, which plays out great in a group from my experience
There is a use for combat calls, and it's agienst bleeders Since you can't heal yourself, the second best thing is to give yourself more dmg and durability I got an allo on death scars when i used them, sadly i died :(
also nv do you know that kick does double damage when you'r on bipedal mode because u read my coment on you'r second newest film? also nice build iggy got nerfed btw
I disagree on the hill ability thing. At least as a non adult trying to grow, I’ll be running from most fights since officials is literally just megapacks targeting lambs rn. But it’s actually amazing since it’s the only dino with that ability, the speed difference when going up hills is actually a very massive difference (and the downhill buff too) and if you stay growing around hilly areas, you can easily escape dinos that are faster, and have more stam than you especially if you can just keep juking them up and down hills. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been running up a hill stressing out about how much slower it made me while being chased and chasing (even though I knew the opponent was slower just as much)
The build is very good but I only disagree with 2 abilities those being Streamlined and Paddle Tail. Tail attack is useless now. But where paddle tail and streamlined gives you extra escape options if needed. Lamb is 400 swim speed with no water abilities but with streamlined and paddle tail and Swim speed subspecies you’re 520 swimspeed that’s faster then conca and Sucho!
@@nvGunnWhy not just say best PvP? Not every build needs to be PvP based. I do think survival builds are good to that’s why you have both survival and pvp skills
2 minutes of free invincibility for a solo player is busted. I get why you chose heal calls, but the survival calls shouldn't be slept on. The trot buff helps the turning radius uncrouched a LOT too.

I LOVE that one. Going up hills fast has so many applications and makes Lambeo more of a rough terrain kind of dino.
Yes exactly
