I did a similar thing because i noticed when you are on the mantis and you just land somewhere every bit of the mantis does not load in straight away so right when i loaded in i switched to camera mode and looked at greece to find his headpiece did not load in so i just find him sitting there headless
The order 66 bit was so incredible I loved it sooo much, when I first saw the trailer for JFO I thought the order 66 scene was gunna be the first bit, you know because it’s when he’s a padawan and everything, so when I started at the junk yard I thought I’d broken the game 😂
I actually found this out for myself. You can actually skip almost all of Dathomir because when he cant climb the wall because he doesn't have the equipment you can use the flying glitch and just progress throught the rest of the story. You also can skip all of Zeffo, Kashyyyk, and the prison because in the beginning (after Bogono) you need the double-jump to get past the part with the "Wanderer" then just go to Ilum, Dathomir, Bogono, then the Imperial Fortress and finish the game.
Thinking that during the training when he throws the ball originally, it is programmed with you as an enemy'? And that is how he can target you with it. And when you attack him outside of that segment, it marks you as hostile again, and he begins using the only attack he knows? Just a thought on how it might work.
I love game breaking stuff. In the final boss battle between Cal and Trilla, I maneuvered myself to go outside of the door out of her reach, and she had to stop because of the mission design so Trilla couldn't hit me, and I got her health down but she wouldn't die, so I just started over. Lol
I don't know if you've found this one yet, but on Zeffo you can force pull/push these boxes on the landing pad, and you can use them to push Cere and Greez to other parts of the map
Actually, the reason you saw the meditation points is because whenever you have a flashback, or whenever you go into a meditation point, you are still at the same planet but a fake skybox and any needed objects or rooms are inside that skybox.
You can actually kill the clone commander in this flashback. All you have to do is use Empowered Slow at it's max power then attack using the lightsaber. If that doesn't work use Empowered Slow at max then Force Pull.
my fav animation is when cal tries to force pull or slow something but there isn't anything to pull or slow so he just confusedly looks at his outstretched hand
I found out the Jaro Tapal easter egg 5 months ago, but I never have used the flying glitch method. I used Super Jump in the trainer in one of my vids, but nice to see this method in action
I was trying to figure out why this footage felt off, watching you hack away at the clone trooper, until it hit me in the face harder than Jaro's steel training ball hit Cal. So, the flashback sequences. They work in the sense that you aren't playing a small Cal Kestis, but instead a normal-sized Cal Kestis in an enlarged room. The 3D Models for Young Cal and Main Cal are actually the same size, everything else is just blown up in scale to make you feel small. Except for the clone you flew over to and started beating the snot out of. For some reason, he didn't get scaled up. So, it felt like watching an awkwardly grown Young Cal fight against a clone. Or, like a Young Cal fighting a mini-clone. Adding to this, that clone has a major growth spurt once you start the cutscene, coming up to Jaro's chest once it starts, but only being at his waist level before that.
Ah fuck, that's why Dodgeball Master Jar Top is so creepy. He doesn't have movement animations so he just spins, he was never meant to be viewed from such a close and detailed angle so his animations have the BARE minimum anti-uncanny valley smoothing, and he's fuckin' HUGE, man.

Okay so this is how I think it works. To get the clone to shoot at Cal (playfully), the clone's team was changed so he was an enemy (though he dealt no damage). Then, when in the room with both Jaro and the clone, the clone would still fire at Cal because he was coded to do that while firing at him during the normal training sequence. But when Cal moves out of the room through the ceiling at 3:32, the clone stops shooting at Cal because he can no longer see him and since the teams are different (Jaro and Cal vs clone) the clone starts shooting at Jaro because he's the only enemy in the room. As for the ball, I don't know. It's weird.
This happened to me before I entered the left side door that triggers the cutscene and I could see the clone attacking jaro tapal and him throwing the ball at the clone. I was so confused

Tried messing around in this part like a week ago. You can actually skip the cutscene where cal loses his lightsaber and the game will still show cal with his lightsaber on his side whilst cowering from the clones when Jaro Topal is getting shot at. Kinda cool. Pointless but cool
You can continue to have your lightsaber in the rest of the mission if you fly to the next area in the elevator shafts instead of fighting the clone troopers
my favorite animations are the ones when cal finishes an enemy and then immediately puts the lightsaber away. he usually does a cool spin trick or blows on it like a smoking gun which is tight as hell but also i have no idea how to actually trigger these animations

I don't think this is an intentional easter egg. What this looks like from a technical perspective is Tapal and the clone have agro states in that room. In the force push tutorial he is agroed to the player and his only attack (atleast in the section of the game) is throwing the ball. So logically speaking it's likely the devs used the same character, calling his character to the area and giving him specific animations and lines for the area but never turning off his basic ai. As such by glitching into the room and attacking the clone and Tapal you activate their agro states. As for why they can't die it's also likely that they are given some sort of immunity to avoid the possibility of a game breaking glitch where either cutscene important character dies and as such loose all rigging and ability to animate, either making a goofy cutscene where the character t poses, or crashing the game as seen in earlier instances.
Bombastic try finding the prisoner animation on Zeffo when Cal is captured by the brood. There's a guy in a cell you can talk to but he's speaking star wars so idk what he's saying
Do some exploration of the Vault on Bogano once you get inside. Can you fly outside through the hole in the ceiling? How is the physics? It always seems like a vault way bigger than what could be seen on the outside, cuz it doesn't make sense that you enter it through the top but then also have an open ceiling once inside.

Easiest way to kill Tapal in training mode: Spawn in a bunch on Skungus and repeatedly force push them at him. It'll take a while, but it works.
