This is awesome, and you are awesome Chris! One of my fave if not THE fave tutorial dude because of how detailed you get in your explanations of WHY things are happening/why certain things matter, and also you don't go at warp speed and assume we know tons of background info like some other tutorial guys. I think it's safer to handle the box individually, and when the animation is fully baked out clone it only then. Like that you'll avoid the path related shazams.
You use the same spline for the rail and not the modified one (spline.rail)
