- As many of you have requested, we continue to visit small towns in Italy, particularly in Molise where we are located.
This time we visit San Martino in Pensilis. A charming town in too of a hill with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and the Adriatic ocean.
For anyone considering to purchase a home in Molise, I think San Martino is worth investigating.
It has plenty of shops and it's close to a major centre like Termoli.

Serracapriola is not far. Lovely old town and the country side is very different. I have a house in Castelbottaccio, towards Campobasso. So good to see Molise but dont tell everyone.
Hi Robert, LOL.
I hadn't heard the names of those towns before. You're right, going towards Campobasso the terrain changes completely. It is lovely as well though.
I can't keep it a secret. My heart bursts of happiness every time I look outside of my window and I want to tell everyone 🤣.
Once I heard that Molise is one of the regions of Italy where the inhabitants leave the most to go elsewhere. We need to keep alive these little towns ☀️🤗😃
Interessante- There is a train station in San Martino in Pensilis, but it is currently closed and does not have passenger service. The station was built in 1883 and was originally on the Termoli-Campobasso line. In 1939, the station was also served by the Termoli-Venafro line. The station was closed in 2010 due to low passenger numbers. According to BARD 😂
This is fascinating to me. I'm in USA and our architecture is new in comparison to the rest of the world. I love the ruins and the thought that maybe they could be restored. Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you Summer Tyme. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
So much beauty. It's really nice to see that all over the world there are people that appreciate it and want to make homes of those abandoned places 🤗
Awesome channel.
You show “ the real Italy “

This is great, I love your video’s😊
Thanks Tori. I'm glad you enjoyed them 😉
Just love Molise. I want to move and retire there just for the scenery, but for the calm living atmosphere that I see. How much would I need to save to be able to live comfortably, especially with transportation, lights, gas, just a good rough estimate. I want to get out of the US because of the cost of living and what not .
Hi Toni. I think Molise is a great place to make that kind of move as properties are still at a lower price than the North and the weather is mild. Not too cold like the north, not too hot like the South.
On my to-do list I have making a video about cost of living. From bread, milk, pasta, to electricity, water, rates, petrol, etc.
Please stay tuned for it.
In the meantime, check out Elective Resident Visa. I think at the moment, the applicant has to demonstrate a passive income/pension of about €30K a year.
Hopefully it can be done ☀️🙏🙂
@@rossinniandco thank you so much for your response. I don't have an income as of yet, but I am starting to write a book. I just want to get away from the US because of the cost of living and how much work one must do to live on a small income and that does not guarantee you a peaceful life. But I'm trying !!!
@@tonirecuero1752 I totally get it Toni.
Being clear on what you're after will help you a lot 🙂☀️

love it keep adding content. have been to Montecilfone 2 years ago , you now live in my dad's aunties house, Say hello to Bruno for me (your neighbor) Coming to Monty next year will say hello e facciamo un cafe. Ciao
Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you!
What breed is your dog, he looks beautiful. We have a dog as well and are wondering how we are going to ship him to Italy
with us from USA. Very few if any commercial airlines will let you take your dog with us even in the baggage section in a kennel. Did you use a private pet only airline company ? They are so expensive that we want to avoid those if possible. Love your video's, thank you for showing us what is in store for us.
Hi Peter.
Thanks. He is a Maremma Sheepdog.
As in Australia you're not allowed to carry any pet in the cabin we had to bring Jorji and the 2 kittens in the cargo area.
We used a pet travel company, especially because from Australia there was a lot of paperwork to be done.
It was expensive, but there was nothing we could really do about it.
When you're ready to take the step, remember that you may have to pay a tax on your pet's 'import' if they don't travel within 5 days of your travel. They would consider them cargo.
I will link the two videos I made about the experience.
