    Hey Donald
    The NS design wav radius bass for which this review is done is it a passive bass or active bass.
    Secondly if it’s an active bass can it be played in passive mode.

      Hi Andrew, This is an active bass with a 9 Volt system. Most active basses can be played passive but I do not see a switch in the controls.       If you reference the NS Design website it says it uses...
      Standard strings:
      D'Addario™ EXL170
      Nickel Round Wound
