Sir, i faced the same situation,including same sum in the sfm.... I lost total control and broke down, Due to that i did not revise small chapters of audit and dint do well in the audit.. .. And i opted out for jan......After couple of todays now I am realising the meer pressure i just had... But it was difficult to make parents understand.. But i was firm in my decision.....and dint wanted to take the risk... I am happy that i could hear the same story today..... May be i should start meditation... Infact sir i was always so cool and composed and used to guide others to be calm... But myself broke down first time in life for exams! :(

And heard someone say it somewhere when you got no direction go in the direction who has the best fit interests for you *parents*.....in my case Consulted mom about it she was of the opinion you have to give and then there was DAD GIVING ADVICE WHAT EXACTLY YOU GAVE..... *CA IS A PART OF LIFE AND NOT LIFE*..... EVENTUALLY gave all the exams and now listened to this and thought how many students would have gone through it..... Difficult time difficult measures!

So well said sir. Yoga and meditation has become so important now. One more practice which does wonders is Sudarshan Kriya. I strongly recommend to learn Sudarshan Kriya and practice it.

Enjoy the life bcz these course take time period & we don't hve any activities like IIT so CA , CFA sbhi enjoy krke pdai kro. Itna bhr lena ka drkar nhi hai . Pdai se mje tension nhi hua kbhi I feel relaxed always #jindagi me SRF CA, CFA ni Krna aur kch bhi seekhna hai wht u love to do .

Exactly happened to me..100% true..I prepared well for all the subjects and good amount of revision..even Sfm I solved almost 26 question papers ,rtp ,mtp everything.. because of tension and pressure I couldn't handle the questions. I had seen 80% questions during preparation but at last couldn't handle the same..due to which audit I could revise only 70% ..at last don't want to take risk..just opted out.. thanks for sharing..it made me to double my efforts..

This is very helpful. Exams are not life! Exams are a part of life. The pressure is being created because of the fact that we got 8 months to study for the exam . But getting extra time doesn't compenste for uncertainty and stress created out of it. I agree with you sir, professional courses are not just about knowledge and application. Its also about handling every other type of situation and ups and down and that's what differentiates a professional person from a knowledgeable person. Today same feeling for SCMPE 🙇. Too much occupied in mugging what ICAI done here and there and drive away my mind from concept understanding. Now regretting and writing all of these on RUclips.🙇

A close known with post qualification experience of 4 yrs, was working in ILFS, was forced to find a new job last year, after lots of efforts and rejecting lowered role/ pay got into another co. But now even the new one might be insolvent soon. 1) loss of salary for few moths + serve notice period for free + find another job.
Sir have been one of the 90+ students throughout my studies. This created a benchmark for CA final as well. But when I could clear only the second group in first attempt, I realised the very fundamentals you're hinting here. Although this meant failing first group, but I'm happy I failed
Sir I don't know but I was not able to opt out, something with in me didn't allowed me to that, this story looks like of mine. I cleared ipcc both groups ist attempt. But looks like I am heading towards my first failure in CA because sfm literally screwed the needed aggregate. This is so scary because the fearing of studying audit again is like a mental trauma for me, mugging mugging and mugging.
In a time of adversity, intelligence or knowledge cann't be successful but the wisdom and the patience will pay out. Never expect positivity always...be postive is more important as there are negative side too..Anyway best of luck....
