lewis saying moyes has been sacked tells you everything you need to know about his knowledge on west ham. moyes has won 3 games this year and was in a relegation battle last year with players like rice, bowen and paqueta. he's been brilliant for us but he's took us about as far as he's capable of, and with his contract being up it's probably the perfect time to go.

@@StrikeBolteafc Well, he hasn’t been sacked in the traditional sense. His contract runs out and West Ham aren’t renewing it. Fresh start for both parties essentially.

West Ham haven't spent a lot of money, their overall net spend is tiny in EPL terms - granted, could their scouting be better... yeah, so could a lot of Prem teams, but by and large every team above them currently, outspends them and has done for last few seasons consistently.
West Ham at this rate will be lucky to finish higher than 14th next season with absolutely nothing to play for.
West Ham have the 8th highest net spend in the Prem….
Liverpool have a lower net spend….
