Nope! Those are SKINNING Words! Preferably with a sandblaster loaded with table salt... Don't forget to periodically douse them with a mixture of Rubbing Alcohol, Iodine, Hydrogen Peroxide and Saturated Saline (water with the maximum amount of salt it can hold dissolved in it) to keep them from dying from Sepsis from an Infection...oh and to make the skinning itself HURT MORE!!! 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
I did craft shows for years. My hubby and I amassed thousands of wild “customer” stories. This crazy lady is sadly not at all abnormal in the story of craft shows.
At least in Ren Faires, nobody bats an eye at you carrying a staff or a sword (peace-tied, of course), so you can easily threaten the really nasty ones off.
I second Krista's request - you can't drop bait as juicy as that and not follow through. I think I'm going to have to insist that you share some of those stories. It's only fair, after all. Ask yourself "What Would *_Karen_* Do?"
Many of our customers were “bebackers.” They would oooh and aww over everything and say, “I’ll be back for that and never return. Then there was a lady who gave us contact info for her husband, an out of work carpenter. We said we would call when we were ready. Ran into problems and couldn’t do anything at the house. She was back the next year and went off on us because we never got a chance to hire her husband and their finances were destroyed because of us. That was a very weird, very public dressing down. Then I had a kid who wanted a piece of jewelry featuring a very cool little mask. Her mother told her with great vim and anger that it was horribly ugly and she could not have it! I made all the jewelry from ceramic clay so I was less than thrilled. She was so nasty! So next kid who came along admired it and was wearing a tshirt from the same school. I gave it to her free. 😉 Then there were the two ladies who saw what was a very reasonable price on a slab built pumpkin plate I made. One says to the other, “Well, you know she didn’t pay that much for it.” There was no mold for it nor did I buy a blank and decorate it. I was pissed! But I held my tongue. Shows were mostly fun but there were some nasty people.
@@kimhohlmayer7018 That last story is exactly why I refuse to sell at craft shows anymore. "Well, how much did YOU pay for it?" Translates to "I only want to pay what you paid" No respect for the time or craftsmanship. 😡
“She can’t honestly think this is gonna work, can she?” Dude, I’d have thought you’d, of all people reading these stories on the daily, wouldn’t underestimate just how delusional entitled parents can get.
That was my first thought - rSlash do you not listen to the stories that you read? I guess the good news is that his vacation really did mellow him out... 😉
Story 1: I don’t think it’s a scam, I think it’s a woman who feels entitled to an easy job where she doesn’t do anything and makes good money. She was walking around that market thinking, “why do THEY get all this money?!”
Well right now, the sales are being handled by a _man_ so _obviously_ that job is so easy a monkey could do it! And since she’s female, that automatically means she’ll do it wayyyyy better and make more money that can go right in her pocket!
Sprinklers were my thought as well. As well as start leaving my house singing curse words. Kids eat that up and repeat anything funny to them who knows where else, making the parents look bad
@@apensalesman Give out “gifts” to the kids like those stupid recorders we played in school. You know the flute-looking thing that always sounds like a dying animal?
It takes a certain amount of audacity to not just park in someone’s driveway, but to also make yourself at home on their front porch. If she left the door unlocked, they probably would’ve helped themselves some beer in her fridge.
Seriously - even if there’s no other parking available, parking in somebody else’s driveway is never OK! I would drive around until I found a space. And this story sounds like there’s plenty of parking if it’s on thismassive estate!
Story 1: It sounds like she was trying to get half of multiple booths money without actually doing the work she claimed she would. If OP hired her she would've definitely needed to "use the bathroom" 5 minutes later and not come back until the end of the festival, demanding "her" money
If she _did_ actually put in any work doing sales, can you imagine how awful she’d be? She’s clearly super aggressive and will harass you like nothing else when she wants something. I can picture her grabbing people and telling them they are not leaving HER booth until they buy something!
You could call the police and hope it scares them off or you could get rid of the bus stop all together and know they wont be back. Honestly, it sounds a lot easier to deal with the school once rather then having to call police every time they get bold enough to trespass again... If he does go the route of police he should put up a sign charging for parking in his drive for $50 a minute or something ridiculous like that.
In a lot of places, the kids are officially the school's responsibility as soon as they leave their home property in the morning. So if he threatens to hold the school responsible for any property damage, they'll probably put a stop to that reeeeally quickly.
Tasing should only be done when necessary. It can actually give people seizures, and seizures can kill you. I've been hospitalized three times from seizures
As someone who's had Norwalk virus before I can 100% guarantee you ain't driving an hour and a half. I could barely get up off the bathroom floor to sit on the toilet and throw up at the same time. Was like that for a week.
I think there is a misconception about Yugo's name because when people hear the dog's name the first time, they probably think it was spelled with a H and not a Y. I often times want to tell people, but I bite my tongue so I don't come off as passive aggressive.
I honestly didn’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it written with a Y (or written by rslash) and it’s an easy enough sound to mix up. I was legit shocked by this 🤣
The spelling is specific to the name’s origin. He decided to give his dog a themed name, and picked “Yugo” as in “yugo get me your manager!” (his words)
Story one sounds like a "distraction robbery" where one person distracts everyone and the accomplice snatches up stuff while no one is looking in that direction.
for that last story: the owner should get some sprinklers and aim exactly where the flock of Karen's stand. with any luck they get the message or better yet, catch a cold. can't blame him for keeping his lawn watered.
First Story: Wow this lady is insane. Who just comes up to random booths and demand to be someones business partner lmao. Not to mention her blatant sexism, saying that OP's husband doesn't count because he is a man selling jewelry. So instead of being an adult, she decides to have a massive adult tantrum and start destroying OP's booth. Second Story: So basically she just kidnapped OP's kids lmao. I think she is lying because why would u start driving home if u are sick? If she really was sick she could've killed herself and the kids with her. Also what the hell is the norovirus? This sounds made up on the spot lmao. Good on OP for going no contact with his mom because she clearly can't be trusted =with the kids and she feels no remorse for what she did Third Story: I wish I could've seen this Karen get proven wrong in person lmao. She really tried to claim that the house was hers but ended up just getting proved wrong and forced to move anyway. I personally would've just had her car towed because it isn't suppose to be there in the first place so there really wouldn't be anything stopping me from getting it towed Comment: I would've laughed too if some random people tired to threaten to call the cops on me for refusing to move my car off my own property. I would've egged them on to call the cops and see what happens; obviously it didn't go in their favor Fourth Story: OP's neighbor will eventually get fed up with these Karens and their hellspawns. The fact this lady has the audacity to demand this guy saltt up his driveway so her kids can play on his property is insane. Like I said, this man will eventually get fed up with these Karens and their kids
I'd have parked the car, gone in and called the police on them for trespass and had parked on my property without my consent, during my absence. Then informed them if the police arrested them that their vehicles would be towed at their expense and further I'm not liable for damages done as a result of their vehicles being removed.
Second story, OP’s mother likely never had intentions to watch the kids, and offload them to OP’s sibling. Probably the siblings are not allowed at the house, which is why the mom was so determined to get the kids to her house. Forgot to add, was mom getting compensation? Can wonder if that is why she went through the trouble of lying, and why she was so salty to the next caregiver.
You’ve made many valid points I didn’t even consider. I’m was to angry about her entitlement. Because I strongly believe she would have been compensated. She likely feels that her kids at home are obligated to do whatever she wants and she knows OP would object.
yeah i was thinking that was what the mom was going to do too. its what my mom does, begs my sisters to let her watch their kids and then leaves me with all the childcare.
Lol! If I came home and found randoms on my garden furniture, I'd ask them exactly _once_ to please leave before turning the garden hose on them. The second warning would be me standing in front of them pointing the still-dry nozzle at them with a "well? It's your choice" look on my face and shrug.
First Story: The daughter actually did steal some of the jewelry, while the mother was trying to create an obvious distraction. That's why OP's husband went to get it back. This is ridiculously common at art festivals and renaissance fairs. One person distracts the booth owner by feigning interest in their jewelry, art, etc., while the other sneaks small trinkets into their purse, bag, or pockets. You have to be very wary of people in any sort of convention setting. Learned this the hard way in local art fairs and actively caught people trying to steal from friends.
The Grandma I. The second story sounded REALLY shady! No one’s pointing out that she had gotten NEW FURNITURE, CLOTHES AND SUCH for OP’s kids WITHOUT their knowledge! I’m willing to bet the Grandma was more interested in keeping the grandkids as her own or whatever and never planned on giving them back. If that’s the case, OP and his/her wife should consider filing a restraining order against the entitled grandma. She sounds NUTS!
I hope that last guy moves to a neighborhood where the neighbors don't suck. Or at least gets a couple of dogs and a chain link fence around his yard. Like man imagine people hanging out on your lawn letting their kids run loose and get into all your shit, and one mom even has the audacity to complain that you haven't made your own driveway safe for her spawn to run around on.
"I learned later that she tried this at other booths too." Ok, it's insane enough trying to force yourself into being a business partner once, but why would you try that again when it failed?
You'd be surprised by how many people think screaming will get them a job. I work at a horse barn, and there was a lot of drama between the boss, the boss's partner, and the manager. One day, it all spilled over the edge. The boss sat down with the manager and very calmly told her she was fired. She began to scream at him that he was a liar and whatnot! She basically dug her own grave
the kidnapped story w/ the grandma left out that the parents had a friend come from far away, stay at a hotel 10 MINUTES from the house to watch them. so now not only are the kids being hauled around (the gm lives an hour away) but this person has no idea they even LEFT and is now an hour away if something goes wrong. never babysit again 7:41
Story 2: I'm really surprised OP risked having their mom watch their kids. Based on all the stuff their mom was saying/doing, I wouldn't trust her to take care of my kids. I would figure that she'd attempt bringing them to her house just based on her fixation/insistence that they go to her house. So many red flags that I would've found someone else to watch them.
Am I The Only One Who Never Messed With People's Property My Whole Life, Even As A Kid? I'm Still Too Scared To Go Into My Neighbor's Yard To Catch My Cat When She Gets Out.
Another great way to get people off your property is sprinklers with timers. That way they either have to move or get wet. If they try to move the sprinkler, get it on camera and call the cops. Easy peezy~
That sounds like an expensive solution. Paying for sprinklers, having the timer thing is extra, AND buying security cameras too? Just call the school and tell them what’s happening!
Friends if the family live in a mansion on the river here. There’s a MASSIVE fireworks show done on that river every year. They have to hire ARMED SECURITY and leave town during the fireworks shows as they’ve had break ins, people climbing the roof, people using their pool, someone slept in their pool house, and more. The security firms only place armed guards during this event, that’s how many serious confrontations they’ve had while guarding homes in that area.
Bro I listen to your spotify podcast and I searched r/entitledparents and click on the first video and it was you. I recognized your voice immediately. I love your voice btw (not to be weird lmao) and I love your podcasts C:
There is an alternative to road salt to melt ice on driveways, etc. It's made of beets. The upside is that it is ecofriendly. The downside is that it stains clothing purple... If I were the homeowner in the last story, I might go in for some malicious compliance before calling the school and getting those families booted off the bus...
My parents had the same problem with school bus kids causing problems on their lawn. After the school failed to stop the problem, they resorted to legal stuff and had the kid's parents pay for damages (totaled around 20k) and they moved the bus stuff to a house of a kid that uses the bus.
Patio furniture and driveways. Boy howdy, if you wanna know entitlement, try having a trampoline in your backyard. I have... trauma...CHILDHOOD TRAUMA!!
To the last story: Something like that happened to my cousin (18 at the time) in Texas. Bought his first house in a suburb, also at the of a curve. On the first day he told the mothers that they have to spot tresspassing or else. Next day it happened again and he came out off his house shotgun in hand. Police was called and nothing happend to my cousin. Their were no 3rd time and school changed the busstop.
My family owns a towing company, if I had some jerks parked in my driveway refusing to move I'd probably call one of our guys to come by in a truck and scare them, lol
Last story: What is stopping you from speaking to the homeowner and calling the police whenever strangers are trespassing on his property, OP? Seems like you feel for the guy, enough to use his story as karma points, but not enough to actually help him out.
That last story happened to me our bus stop was on a guys salvage yard driveway and kids were leaving trash and messing up his fence (not me i was a good bored kid) so he calls and no more bus stop. I was from then on picked up by a family member (except the times they forgot me 😅)
my only thing for this is in the first story the child being an ED i feel bad for her, she just seems to be along for the ride and wanted to buy stuff y'know
That disrespectful grandma just wanted to dump the grandkids on her own kids to watch. I wish that OP called CPS on her if her kids are that badly behavioring.
Dang, wow. That grandma is acting like a tween. If you’re babysitting somebody else’s kid, you need to follow the rules the parents or legal guardians have set in place, No “I’m gonna bring them to my place because I’m sick” If you’re sick then don’t take care of them! You never leave the house with kids under 3 UNLESS you have the direct permission of the parents/legal guardians. OP Specifically stated that his house was baby proof BECAUSE THE KIDS ARE LITERALLY YOUNGER THAN 3. THEY CAN GET HURT BY THE SMALLEST THINGS. AND WITH THE FACT THAT THE GRANDMA HAD TO TEACH OP’S SIBLINGS TO NOT HURT TODDLERS. YOU ARE JUST ASKING FOR SOMETHING TO GO WRONG! Anyways I’m done ranting, the format may look weird, I’m on a mobile device lmao, OP is definitely in the right to take his children back in a pretty dangerous situation.
The cruise story- as a parent who doesn’t have really any child care… I think that’s a ESH. Don’t get me wrong… grandma overstepped. But she’s doing them a huge favor and they refused any level of accommodation. I wouldn’t wanna watch someone’s kids away from my own things for a week for free either.
Seriously. I take my sister’s kid every weekend. If I have to stay at their place while my sister is out of town, she bends over backwards to make that work for me. And on my time, it’s my rules. Why would you ever leave your child with someone you didn’t trust to exercise good judgement in caring for and raising them?
I'd have to disagree, to me it sounds more like the grandma wanted to look after the kids since OP mentioned they had other options if she didn't want to watch them at their house. Grandma just lied and went against their wishes anyway. I will say that it definitely seems like we're missing bits of the story. If I'm missing anything let me know but that's what I'm gathering from it.
I can kinda see why you say ESH. OP mentioned that he and his wife assumed that his mother would take care of the kids at their house. This should have been clarified at the very beginning. But this wasn’t exactly an unreasonable expectation. 20 minutes vs over 90 minutes if one of the kids needed medical attention is a huge difference. If she was unwilling to meet this requirement she should have just said so. Instead, she lied about being ill and went against the parents’ wishes. I’d say “overstepped” is an understatement. She was prepared to have the kids. Newly purchased items were in view. She’s definitely the entitled one in this story.
Story 2: Yeah, if she had norovirus, she shouldn't have gone back to her house as she could've endangered OP's siblings. And it's OP's kids, so it's his rules, not his mom's rules. If he doesn’t want the kids away from his house, that’s the end of the story. Exceptions are if the house burned down or got wrecked in a storm
So... I used to work vendor events. I have had nearly this exact conversation four timesL "I could make this for cheaper." "Okay." "Well?!" "Well, you should go make it for cheaper." "HOW DARE YOU." (Though there was one woman who threw my wares at me as she stomped off.)
Story about people using the OP's law chairs and property as their own. I live in a town that hosts the state fair. During that time, outsiders seem to think we in the town have to bow to them. There have been stories of people going home to find strangers in their house, eating their food, using their things and refusing to leave - until the cops were called.
The festival squatters stories remind me of a sort-of opposite story. I live in an area where there are two small towns about 4 miles apart. One town (my town) is an unassuming little town that is related to farming and farm support business. The other town is a snooty bedroom community filled with a lot of rich and rich-adjacent snooty types. For example: my town has a gas station with diesel area for tractors and big trucks, there's a farm supply store, hardware store, cafe, burger joint, church, liquor store and various other salt-of-the-earth businesses. The snooty town has boutiques and gift shops, a chocolatier, a fancy coffee house, a couple bed-and-breakfasts and other such weekend-getaway type of businesses. Snooty town has a fireworks display every July 3rd. And just like clockwork, that morning the entire town is lined with Do Not Park signs. No one who does not have a garage or driveway can legally park within a mile of the fireworks. It is clearly meant to keep people not from the town from watching the fireworks. One year I was invited to sit on the lawn of a townsperson to watch the fireworks from their front yard. So my wife and kids and I parked out in the countryside and, carrying a picnic blanket, walked the mile into town to the house of the person who invited us. At least twice as we were walking in the town towards the house we were invited to, someone asked us, "Do you belong here?". What a shitty way to celebrate a National Holiday. I refuse to do any business in that town. The hell if they're getting any of my money.
I was talking to my friend who works at my old high school and told him about this story, he told me that the elementary school has no buses because of alot of entitled parents not watching their kids at the bus stop , destroying property and refusing to listen to the bus driver to get on the bus and the parents don’t do shet, now the parents who aren’t entitled and have jobs have to get up early to drop off their kids
Everytime I hear that first story, I just imagine OP working on the client order in her tent, blissfully unaware of the shadow growing larger just outside the purple tent before Karen full-on Kool-Aid Man’s her way inside.
Ngl RSlash sounded like he, not only, took the fact that OP of the 3rd story didn’t know rslash’s name but rather knew him by his dog’s name as a personal attack but his intonation sounded like he was thinking “seriously. You know my dogs name but not mine?? But you couldn’t even SPELL IT RIGHT”
My mom was in a somewhat similar situation as the lady with the jewelry, except it was with her supposed best friend. At first, they agreed to go into business together, they both got stuff to sell at the local flea market and for awhile they were doing great. Then suddenly she couldn't afford to put money out for merch so my mom was splitting half of hers with her 'friend'. And then she stopped showing up early to the flea market, showing up pretty much as it was being closed but yet claiming half the profits for the day. Then my mom started putting out money to help her because her 'friends' father was ill and she'd lost her job. And then after all of that, her 'friend' had the audacity to go around telling everyone that my mother took advantage of 'her good nature', that she coughed up thousands to 'help my mother' and got nothing in return, even worse, she started a rumor that my mother steals the things she sells. (I know this isn't true, because I'm literally with her when she picks up her haul and I'm the one who hands over the money for it.) This lady likely thinks that she can just become business partners with people and just sit on her ass all day, reaping in 50%. Soon enough that 50% is going to become 90% because she's going to start slipping herself 'tips' for 'doing such a great job'. It's a scam alright, but whether it's to reap free money or to steal the merch, I can't tell. We have a lady just like her at the flea market who expects everyone to just bow down to her. You're not allowed to look at the same thing she's looking at or else you're a thief, she low balls everyone (so if you're selling a bike for $100, she'll expect you to take $5 for it. That's how bad she low balls people.) and honestly, I'd say she's like a chihuahua, small and nasty, but she carries a Chihuahua who's the sweetest thing, doesn't even bark.
I’m convinced that most people don’t know about motion activated sprinklers. They’re not expensive and would solve a lot of the problems many OPs have with vile interlopers on their property. They work great for deer eating your garden too
Had something similar happen to us growing up to the story of the people using the owner's patio furniture. There was a lawyer's office next door to us. One day we go out our back door and find a bunch of his clients eating lunch at OUR picnic table in our backyard. My mom asked what they were doing and they tried to blow her off. She explained that we LIVED there and finally got them to move. Though they were giving us looks and muttering the whole time
That last story could have been my mom with the school kids and their parents hanging out in the front yard. She can be a Karen at times, so she called the school district and had the bus stop moved to another corner. Worked like a charm
I remember one year for Christmas, we were headed to one of our annual parties. My mom starts marching up to this one house and I'm all, "Um, Mom, it's the house next door..." And she replies, "No, it's not" all firm. I roll my eyes, we get to the door (which is unlocked), open it...and see a bunch of strangers having their own Christmas party. My mom immediately apologized and said we had the wrong house, and they were very understanding. I laughed my ass off all the way to the right house...
Last story: As a school bus driver, this is not true (in any of the districts I've worked in at least). I've had issues with one of my stops for a few years now. I have a homeowner that comes and screams at me all the time because the kids standing at the stop are constantly destroying their property and vehicles. I've told the school at least 30 times over the last 3 years, the homeowners have called the school, the neighbors have called the school, and even substitute drivers have told the school when they do my route. The schools do not care! I write the kids up, and get told that because it didn't happen ON the bus or on school property, it has nothing to do with them, and they are not responsible and cannot take action against the students.
I remember something just like that parade story. My mom's office is half a block from an annual parade that's just one part of a huge festival filled with tons of tourists. She keeps her small parking lot roped off with a sign saying NO PARKING and WILL BE TOWED in all caps in bright red. The employees in her office have permission to park there. There was enough space for 4 cars, and since not everyone in the small office goes to the parade, there should be enough parking for our minivan, the family car at the time. She also keeps it roped off even on the days before and after for events we generally don't go to that she knows some of the employees do, so they have a place to park. One year when I was a kid we get to the parking lot and it's full, with only 3 cars, but they were parked so badly they took up the four spaces, and there was ample room for those four spaces, it's not like it was packed tight. They seemed to all be together, so they decided to take up 4 spaces with 3 cars from 1 group. The NO PARKING sign was just taken down and left on the ground and driven over, not something any of the employees or their families would do. My mom didn't recognize any of the cars, and thought some chance it's family of the employees, which, they are allowed to do as long as, 1. They only take one space per car, and 2. There is an empty space for us to use, so if there is one space left and no gold minivan, it's taken. Once we leave for the day, it's available for the employees. My mom called some employees to see if it were them in a different car, their family, someone they told could park there, etc. None of them. One even said she went to park there, but all the spaces were taken by cars she didn't recognize. We didn't want to wait for a tow truck and miss the parade and best part of the midway, etc. So, my mom parked the van directly behind them, trying to block them as much as possible. She put her sign back up and left a note saying we were probably staying until at least X time and since this was HER parking lot she could park there like she did and they would be stuck until we decide to leave. She also warned she could have these cars towed at the owners expense at anytime, that she took down all their license plates, and if she sees any of them parked there any other day of the festival, she *will* have them towed. I think because it was an office and not a home, the NO PARKING sign was just the owner not wanting people parked there, rather than the owner and employees planned to park there, so there would be little chance of them getting caught. There are mass parking areas, but most fill up quick, they are many blocks away and on a big, steep hill, and parking costs more and more each year. At one point it was like $20 per car. But, pretty much all the mass parking places are run by charities and use the event to make money for their non-profit, children's group home, boy scouts, drug treatment facilities. There is always more cars than places to park. *Moral of the story:* taking down a sign doesn't make it invalid or unenforceable, also don't park like a dick, especially when the demand for parking is so outrageously high.
Last story. For the warmer months raspberry bushes. Actually, they are prickly anytime, but in warmer weather the leaves and flowers cover them. Line your property with them. See how many parents and kids play on the property then.
First story: I think another evidence that was probably a scam attempt was the fact the ED tried to get out with two of OP's jewelry without paying. Probably tried to push the whole "let my daughter work for you" as a attempt to distract OP and her husband to sneak away with the jewelry, that failed so she tried to get access to OP's booth by suggesting a partnership, somehow thinking that wouldn't work; That failed, she waited for OP's husband to leave the booth to try to sneak inside again by the back, thinking it was empty, found OP still there and tried to double down on the whole "partnership" mess as a cover-up; Comment on the third one: if they didn't wanted to sit on the ground, these idiots could very well bring their own foldable lawn chairs instead of basically stealing other's property. Also you must be pretty stupid to be trespassing and using other's property without permission, and call the police yourself, specially on a small town where everyone knows eachother.
Fourth story... I'd be calling cops and tresspassing them off MY property. I'd have their car towed off MY property. So, I'm "selfish"? It's called "private property"! 🤨
My driveway has been a bus stop on and off over the years. Litte kids ran all over my front lawn, making my dogs go nuts barking. My husband would tell me to do something because if they get hurt they can sue us. The kids never stopping and our school transportation didn't help.
The first story....ripping open the sidewall and coming in grabbing at stuff was probably a huge distraction from the daughter lifting jewelry from the shop.
What's so confusing to me is that it's normal to take the kids to the person that's watching them house. Like anytime I'm babysitting my niece or my mom is watching her she comes to us not the other way around especially if shes going to be with us for a week
6:30 If she had Norovirus, shouldn't she have not come? Isn't it SUPER CONTAGIOUS? I also bet anything OPs Kid miraculously didn't get Norovirus after being touched by Mrs. Norovius.
Story 3: i do wonder if she really thought it was hers. If its a new build up and all the houses look the same could be a mistake. The fact she named the car brands maybe suggests its really just a confusion
In the parking space story, it's not specified whether the garage door is opened by remote or manually. I prefer to think the former, I can picture the brother with a deadpan expression get the remote from his pocket, press the open button and watch all the bravado drain from Karen as the cars are slowly revealed.
That last story reminds me of the house I used to own. It fronted on an intersection where a schoolbus stopped, and the kids would sit on my concrete steps, or when it was rainging up under my porch. I stenciled a warning on the steps that this was private property and not to sit here. Suprisingly they did move, and a few month later the stop was moved. I was afraid that when it was icy the kids would slip on the concrete.
“He’s just your husband” those are fighting words
If I was OP and Karen said that to me, she would have a few fewer teeth in her mouth.
😂😂😂 right
Not just fighting words. Those are, “they will never find your remains” words
The perfect clap back: “At least he gives more than what yours can in ‘places’”
😄😁😆😅😂🤣

She was back the next year and went off on us because we never got a chance to hire her husband and their finances were destroyed because of us. That was a very weird, very public dressing down.
Then I had a kid who wanted a piece of jewelry featuring a very cool little mask. Her mother told her with great vim and anger that it was horribly ugly and she could not have it! I made all the jewelry from ceramic clay so I was less than thrilled. She was so nasty! So next kid who came along admired it and was wearing a tshirt from the same school. I gave it to her free. 😉
Then there were the two ladies who saw what was a very reasonable price on a slab built pumpkin plate I made. One says to the other, “Well, you know she didn’t pay that much for it.” There was no mold for it nor did I buy a blank and decorate it. I was pissed! But I held my tongue. Shows were mostly fun but there were some nasty people.

Or guard dogs...
Or a 12 gauge shotgun and "No Tresspassing" signs. 🤨
@@lancerevell5979 raising a fire arm to kids is really your answer? Moron.
If she left the door unlocked, they probably would’ve helped themselves some beer in her fridge.
seriously, if someone did that to me i'd be calling the cops for trespassing. christ those are rage inducing actions
Last Story: Well, they aren't allowed on his property. I doubt revoking bus privileges is enough, he should scare them off with cops.
The thing is, if the bus driver refuses to let the kids on the Schoolbus, then there's no reason for them to wait near the bus stop.
First story: man, the blatant sexism of this psycho!

I was legit shocked by this 🤣
And, I mean, some people do pronounce "Hugo" as "Yugo", just as they pronounce "huge" as "yuge". So they probably think he's just doing that.
I think I remember him saying "who's a good boy, you go boy" as why he chose it
The spelling is specific to the name’s origin. He decided to give his dog a themed name, and picked “Yugo” as in “yugo get me your manager!” (his words)
“Yo go” that’s hilarious and adorable. I usually play his vids in the background, so I can’t be too surprised I didn’t know I guess 🤣
First story: Yep definitely scam. Make as much kerfuffle as possible in order to slip some jewelry in your pocket.
There are attachments to introduce fertilizer into the water. I'd use indelible red dye. 😆
@@lancerevell5979 And since it’s winter, whatever gets on their clothes will probably freeze on it!

Good on OP for going no contact with his mom because she clearly can't be trusted =with the kids and she feels no remorse for what she did
Third Story: I wish I could've seen this Karen get proven wrong in person lmao. She really tried to claim that the house was hers but ended up just getting proved wrong and forced to move anyway. I personally would've just had her car towed because it isn't suppose to be there in the first place so there really wouldn't be anything stopping me from getting it towed
Comment: I would've laughed too if some random people tired to threaten to call the cops on me for refusing to move my car off my own property. I would've egged them on to call the cops and see what happens; obviously it didn't go in their favor
Fourth Story: OP's neighbor will eventually get fed up with these Karens and their hellspawns. THIS PART HAPPENED WHEN I READ IT
I'd have parked the car, gone in and called the police on them for trespass and had parked on my property without my consent, during my absence. Then informed them if the police arrested them that their vehicles would be towed at their expense and further I'm not liable for damages done as a result of their vehicles being removed.
I would have charged them a parking fee per car and a fee for using my porch and chairs. If they couldn’t pay then I would’ve had their cars towed! 😮
@@christineatchley7303 that also works, but I'd have said I charge a parking fee and it's by the hour.🤣
@@vernonharden That’s a better idea, I agree.
My mom has kinship custody of my kids and gets my niece (who lives with her too) to change nearly all my baby's wet diapers. She's 11.
Lol!
If I came home and found randoms on my garden furniture, I'd ask them exactly _once_ to please leave before turning the garden hose on them.
The second warning would be me standing in front of them pointing the still-dry nozzle at them with a "well? It's your choice" look on my face and shrug.
Plot twist, he got the dog's name right and was talking about someone else.
The last story could also be solved with a call to the police. "Yes hello, there are people tresspassing on my property."
“I live here!”
“Oh really?” (Walks past her to lock door with house key) “Then why don’t you go inside?”
Wonder how she figured on opening the garage door? "Oopsy, I forgot my garage door opener!" 🙄
i don't know why they didn't just call a tow for the car, its what i would have done tbh.
Yes! I can’t believe no one else mentioned this part!! It’s straight up CREEPY!!!
okay, yeah that is weird
listening to story 2 makes me curious if the mom is this way in general and has the tendency to subvert the wishes of op and their siblings
Story one: The entiled mother may have been trying to cause a distraction so while op was busy with her, her daughter could steal.
yet the mom kept coming back, thats the weird part
The scam in the first story was probably to just sit around all day doing nothing then claim half the profits.
"I learned later that she tried this at other booths too."
Ok, it's insane enough trying to force yourself into being a business partner once, but why would you try that again when it failed?
And why didn’t security kick her out sooner? Also couldn’t EP get arrested for her attempted robberies and destruction of OPs tent?
You'd be surprised by how many people think screaming will get them a job. I work at a horse barn, and there was a lot of drama between the boss, the boss's partner, and the manager. One day, it all spilled over the edge. The boss sat down with the manager and very calmly told her she was fired. She began to scream at him that he was a liar and whatnot! She basically dug her own grave
Funny how the third story would mention Yugo, because I hope he's doing okay.
the kidnapped story w/ the grandma left out that the parents had a friend come from far away, stay at a hotel 10 MINUTES from the house to watch them. so now not only are the kids being hauled around (the gm lives an hour away) but this person has no idea they even LEFT and is now an hour away if something goes wrong. never babysit again 7:41
3:42 to me, that sounds like sabotage for not being able to set up a booth, due to being late.

That disrespectful grandma just wanted to dump the grandkids on her own kids to watch. I wish that OP called CPS on her if her kids are that badly behavioring.
Last story. Time to get some sprinklers that go on in the morning.
Also about OP’s house being the safest, being closer to their doctors is actually better than being further just in case of an emergency.
Last guy should call the cops on the parents
There have been stories of people going home to find strangers in their house, eating their food, using their things and refusing to leave - until the cops were called.
you are majorly overdue for a puppy bloopers Dabney :) give Yugo much headpats and loves from my family
He doesn't do them anymore because Yugo isn't a puppy anymore and behaves during recording now.
(I know this isn't true, because I'm literally with her when she picks up her haul and I'm the one who hands over the money for it.)
This lady likely thinks that she can just become business partners with people and just sit on her ass all day, reaping in 50%.
They work great for deer eating your garden too
Last story solution, sprinklers on timers
On that third Story, I find hilarious when Karens try to claim something that isn’t their’s when it’s so easily disproved. Like what they expect? 😂
The school bus info is much appreciated~ As a school bus stop might be added to my street soon. 😭
I love how he probably scrolled google for these pictures of crazed haired women for thumbnails
Last story:
As a school bus driver, this is not true (in any of the districts I've worked in at least).

Last story: very easy solution in 1 word: sprinklers.
Just wanted to say on story one, there are absolutely people who think you can get a job by going in and yelling.
First story: I think another evidence that was probably a scam attempt was the fact the ED tried to get out with two of OP's jewelry without paying. Probably tried to push the whole "let my daughter work for you" as a attempt to distract OP and her husband to sneak away with the jewelry, that failed so she tried to get access to OP's booth by suggesting a partnership, somehow thinking that wouldn't work;
That failed, she waited for OP's husband to leave the booth to try to sneak inside again by the back, thinking it was empty, found OP still there and tried to double down on the whole "partnership" mess as a cover-up;
Comment on the third one: if they didn't wanted to sit on the ground, these idiots could very well bring their own foldable lawn chairs instead of basically stealing other's property. Also you must be pretty stupid to be trespassing and using other's property without permission, and call the police yourself, specially on a small town where everyone knows eachother.
That wasnt really a entitled daughter in op 1 story.
Fresh video yess. Happy Sunday rSlash gang!
Yeah I thought the same. Seems to me that she was really convinced that it was really her house
I am a crabby woman who hates the terms DH (dear husband) and "hubby". Thanks for changing it to "husband".
