It's a very good dynamic that some games have. Namely FromSoft games, like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, or CAPCOM games, such as Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma. All of these games swing between two extremely distinct moods. One is of intense action and incredible danger, usually with loud banger music. Then, in between those intense moments, the music either disappears completely or becomes much more sparse and relaxed, and you get to enjoy the beautiful vistas and detailed environments while walking around. It's also noteworthy that none of these games hold your hand too much when it comes to navigation. You get no paths drawn on your map, maps in general are imprecise, and a lot of important stuff isn't marked at all. You're forced to become familiar with your surroundings, to take things a bit slower than you would in another game, which means you end up engaging a lot more strongly with the non-combat mechanics, which ends up becoming quite relaxing
If I ever get this music when I'm playing, long as I don't get ambushed by a stray goblin or wolf, I'll probably just find a spot to chill and just look at the scenery This music is super relaxing
'Tis relaxing to be sure! Would make for a fine moment of respite, interrupted only by the odd «You're staring, Arisen! Has aught yonder caught your eye?»
My doofy ("Simple" inclination) beastren Pawn was always having a grand time just chilling and taking in the scenery, though the other two were constantly warning him not to trip. Him: "These things happen."
Agreed! At times in cities I like to chill by the music playera, especially the ones playing the chord instrument or lute in Battahl, it's super nice and relaxing.
Can't believe people are saying this game looks bland or dated. It's a low fantasy setting with more grounded aesthetics. There is something so serene about the game's vistas and open spaces that contrasts with the dangers of the monsters that lurk around every corner. Somehow, it brings me at peace.
People are more into Norse fantasy now thanks to Marvel, God of War 4&5 and Skyrim, the game that eclipsed the first Dragon's Dogma when they both released months apart.
Both this game and the first one had some of my favorite soundtracks. I played the first during summertime and it always reminds me of windy warm days. I am so glad the ambience and music matched that same feeling in this game as well
When this game isn't trying to kill you or inflicting psychic damage with its less than optimized quirks it genuinely has some of the most aesthetically pleasing environments to take in.
Thank you for uploading this, I am having a rough time right now. I was having a panic attack and couldn't calm down until I found this. Thanks for helping me.
You have to own the rights for that kind of thing, so unless Capcom or one of the composers uploads the soundtrack to streaming services, it's not possible (covers are a slightly different story).
Pieces of the soundtrack already being available? Nice! Not sure if I will play the game right now (I can't keep the pace to buying a new big game every 3-4 months anymore, gaming is just pure business now), but listening to its soundtrack will definitely help me decide or not for the future. Thanks a lot for posting this here!
@@JacopoSkydweller Personally on xbox I haven't had a single performance issue. I think it's not as well optimized on PC but on console it's been great. I gotta say the price held me back aswell at first, but I'm almost 50 hours in now and it was so worth it. This game is amazing, so fun, I don't regret getting it.

I wish you could enjoy the music and atmosphere of the world a bit more, but the only thing you really hear is combat music!

There's too many freaking goblins, you would think they would have raided settlements by now
@@chrisangflo6102 But settlements tend to use fires for warmth with lit candles for light, and goblins ill like fire

This was one of my biggest complaints! I wish they played more music when your exploring , even though sometimes your in combat every 30 seconds 😂
Not going to lie, 120 hours in and I didn't know such awesome relaxing tracks were in the game. Thank you for uploading this.

Same lol I appreciate this games art direction. Whenever the soft music plays I stop and just take in the views

@@Ronam0451 This is the ultimate explanation for DD2 being hated.
People haven't played it. They are just blindly parroting others.

Muito obrigado por essa bela edição do fantástico Dragon's Dogma 2 e um forte abraço!
🤗
Just finished it after 200 hours (almost 100%). What a unique experience, it's such a wonderful fucking game.
This is bliss - thank you! I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere in this game. I can't believe the soundtrack isn't available anywhere.
Listening to this while waiting for a dlc
If only the music actually played more often, half of the time there's just silence.
''The music is generic fantasy trash.'' LOL! This shit is GOATED.
I love its music 🙂
I have to say, DD1 had more impactful and punchy music, but I genuinely love DD2 too - you can tell they handcrafted the experience
This game give me a big frieren vibe, just a adventure.
Thanks for making this playlist. It really helps when I'm trying to decide on quiet-ish music for my videos ❤

Oh no, I have not finished the game yet😐 dont think I will now😅

Talvez seja por isso que ainda não larguei esse jogo, a trila sonora é boa, para jogar 10h seguidas
Já estou com 100 horas e não canso da música
Kinda funny how I never heard most of this music in the game as every 2 meter there is enemy so it's either silence or combat music xD
