안녕하세요. 영상 시청에 불편함을 느낀 분들이 많은 것 같아 글을 작성합니다. 단순히 털 날림이 불편하고 빗질이 귀찮아서 미용을 한 것은 아닙니다. 가정마다 사정이 있고 고양이 미용은 공존을 위한 선택이었습니다. 댓글에서 많은 집사분들이 우려해 주신 부분을 미리 인지했더라면 미용으로 끼칠 수 있는 악영향에 대해 가족들과 상의하고 미용을 하지 않았을 것입니다. 마당에서 울고 있는 아기 고양이를 집에 데려오는 걸 시작으로 16년 동안 고양이들과 함께 살아오면서 지금껏 경험에 의존하여 고양이가 받을 스트레스를 인지하지 못한 부분이 있는 거 같습니다. 마요(치즈냥)는 장난기가 많고 성격이 온순합니다. 두 마리가 미용과 목욕을 하면서 우는 부분만 편집했습니다. 많은 분들이 시청하게 되면서 전부터 글을 작성하려 했으나 부족한 글솜씨가 오히려 독이 될까 봐 고민을 많이 했습니다. 기존에 이 영상을 시청해 주신 분들이 이 글을 보실 수 있을지는 모르지만 시청에 불편을 드려 죄송합니다. 감사합니다.

우리집에 유기묘 대리고 온게 16년전이고, 서로의 공존을 위해 털 깎았어. 이불,카펫,요에 털이 달라붙잖아. 이게 사람 기관지에 엄청 안좋고 알레르기 일으키지, 심지어 물벼룩까지.. 만약 간난아이가 있다면 벌써 다른곳으로 분양 보냈을꺼야. 동물보단 사람이 우선이고 사람의 안전과 고양이의 청결을 위해 저리 했다면 난 대찬성인데, 학대라고 떠드는 사람들은 뭐냐?
안녕하세요 k막내의 큰누나이며 저 영상 속에서 털을 밀고 있는 사람입니다. 저희 집에서 제가 미용을 담당해왔기 때문에 답글을 답니다. 치즈냥은 털갈이 시기가 되면 미용을 해왔고 목욕은 분명 싫어하지만 미용에 대한 거부감은 크지 않습니다. 사람에게 발톱과 이빨을 내민 적이 한 번도 없을 정도로 성격 자체가 너무 온순합니다. 이발기 소리 듣고 난리 치는 아이였으면 미용은 꿈도 못 꿨을 거예요. 하얀아이는 구조냥입니다. 친할머니께서 고양이 키우고 싶다고 하셔서 아는 분께서 구조를 한 8개월가량 된 개냥이를 분양받아왔습니다. 그렇게 잘 키우고 계시다가 할머니께서 편찮아지셔서 저희 집으로 데려오게 되었습니다 저희 치즈 냥이랑 너무너무 잘 지내서 행복한 요즘입니다 이 친구는 첫미용인데 너무 얌전하고 가만히 있어서 놀랐어요. 목욕은 싫어합니다. 민머리처럼 빡빡 깎이는 거 아니고 그루밍 할 털 있습니다,, 털이 난 결대로 이발을 해서 제일 짧은 털 길이는 5mm 정도 될 것 같네요. 이것도 금방 자라납니다. 낯가리는 아이들을 데려다가 전문샵에서 마취를 해서 미용을 할 생각도 없었고 저도 미용을 어느 정도 잘 하기 때문에 직접 하게 되었습니다. 고양이마다 성격이 다르기 때문에 저희 집 아이들은 저희 가족이 제일 잘 안다고 생각합니다 티엠아이지만 어렸을때부터 저희집이 동물농장이라고 불리울 만큼 각종 동물과 지내왔고 사랑합니다. 유기견 봉사도 나가고 길냥이들 후원도 합니다.. 동물을 학대할 생각은 죽어도 없고 저희 집고양이를 학대했다고도 생각한 적 없습니다 걱정해주시는 댓글을 보니 고양이가 받을 스트레스에 대해 다시한번 생각해보는 계기가 되었습니다. 불편함을 드려 죄송합니다.
Cats don't need to be shaved unless recommended by a vet for a medical reason. It can actually be detrimental to cats, their coat helps them regulate their temperature. The same goes for dogs only. Shave them if recommended by a groomer or vet for medical reasons. Such as not being able to groom them daily and it becoming a hazard to their health
Usually pet owner shaved the pets if they have skin problems like scabies or fungus. I thought first that the cats have skin problem and got shavings, but somehow it doesn't look like it..... 😓.
cats have extremely thin and delicate skin. their coat not only provides insulation from the cold but protects them from cuts and scratches. this is literally why most vets and groomers will recommend that you NOT shave your cat unless it’s absolutely necessary. this poor baby smh

@@mariaanass7Cats are not objects or accessories. They are living beings. If you can't handle a cat, then DON'T GET ONE. Cats didn't choose to be owned by us, we chose to own them. Therefore we need to make the best choices for their health and happiness.
Grooming your cat is completely fine, but you should NEVER shave a cat unless it is for medical purposes. This damages their undercoat, which won't grow back properly, and WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE CAT.

Just an advice: shaving a cat's hair can lead to a lot of stress oriented behaviors like licking some areas too much. Besides, cats are not like dogs and don't need excessive grooming, especially because they're super clean animals. Even bathing them constantly can lead to stress and diseases. They're sensitive about their appearance and are also very particular about their scent, which is removed when you bathe them. So please if you love your cat, bathe them only if really necessary in case they're actually dirty and need help cleaning themselves, and avoid shaving them as much as possible

@cyr4062 I wouldn't go as far as to say it's animal abuse, because some people just don't know. I've known a lot of people who really think cats get stinky like dogs if they're not bathed, so we have to take time to educate and if they insist in having that behavior, then we can judge... I hope more people will learn how to treat cats respectfully after this video
Cats shouldn’t be shaved unless they have a severe skin condition that requires topical creams. Cats are very sensitive animals this is too stressful for them. Removing their coat doesn’t allow them to regulate temperature to cool off, warm up or prevent sun burns. Cats regularly groom themselves too. I very minor for hygiene is one thing but this is over the top.
I agree with some of the comments. It is not necessary to cut a cat's fur. They don't like it or expect it. They are not meant to be groomed in this way.
@@yolz1238 Keep in mind that this highly depends on the cat itself, with most cats you are right i would say 75-80% but there are cats that are either because of overbreeding or because of health issues mostly overweight not able to groom themself. Then this is actually very important this 2 cat seemed to be fine to be honest.

Mi gata no se puede asear adecuadamente por un enfermedad que tiene en la boca desde pequeña y tengo que llevarla a cortar el pelo 1 o 2 veces al año. Tampoco les afecta tanto, se acostumbran.

You say you removed their fur because you're afraid it might cause YOU problems but you didn't think if losing their fur would cause them any problem.Don't get cats from the start if you're not ready to accept them the way they are or get a furless animal.
Guys if we want to do something against it we have to report the video and say it's animal abuse! Otherwise it spreads, people copy this behavior and the OP even get's money for it! Only commenting does nothing but give the video more attention!
In case anyone is wondering: 1) cats are all the drama 2) you are NOT supposed to shave your cat 3) if your cat is stressed enough to moan, stop what your doing and give them a minute. 4) getting carpet wet will mold the padding under it. Good luck out there
@@Cobraabiteewhat. Of course cats need discipline not physical discipline but they definitely need boundaries just like any other pet. No being on counters , don’t destroy clothes or shoes, don’t scratch up furniture, use the litter box etc. There is an etiquette most cat owners naturally expect from their cats and they are not excused from that expectation just because they are moody cats could who scratch their owners
these cats don't need to be shaved and bathed, their skin under their coats are perfectly fine, there's no open wounds or heavily scabbed areas that require them to be shaved

The fur coat help them to have stable body temperature amongst extreme climate change. Hope the cat not get sick easily when its shave too much. If its too long or having skin issues then you can shave it. Its better find another things to do other than shaving them. I only bath my cat when he's really dirty, he's a wild cat love being outside and i found he got yearly flu. I can't bath him often, its no way to shave him, i love the way he is.

@@wsmith580you doing a lil too much Its not abusive This reduces hair balls and yes it could be a problem in the winter But like I said it’s not really abuse they’re just trying to help their cats But there is other ways to reduce hairballs like giving your cat a bath at least 3 or 2 times a month or groom it with a brush. You shouldn't do this to a cat, even if you have allergies which I do as well, you can take allergy medicine. Instead of fixing the cat to "coexist" together, you should fix yourself. You don't need to shave and wash your cat, most vets recommend not doing that. Edit: Yes I read the pinned comment, they did it because it was necessary for coexistence, which they never stated why it was necessary.

솔직히 고양이 키워본 사람이나 현재 키우는 사람이면 알겠지만 가족중에 비염이나 털 알러지 있는사람들이랑 살면 저렇게 밀수밖에없음. 저렇게 민다고 털이 안빠지는건 아니지만 관리가 훨씬 수월해짐.. 동물 애호가인거마냥 쥐 ㅈ도 모르는것들이 동물 인권타령하지 ㅋㅋ 내 전여친도 고양이 중성화 왜하냐 미용 왜하냐 걔네는 자유의지 없냐 염병떨더니 몇달뒤에 자기도 키우는 고양이 중성화시키고 털미용 시키고 다하더라 ㅋㅋ 키워보고 아가미를 c부리던가 했음 좋겠음 ^^

@@Sm3llyToiletDude shaving the fur of a cat is like making your cat naked ....God made those cats special they don't feel like the u way said...cos cats could handle heat of the world besides it's cold there in korea....even here in Malaysia we only hv 2 season and it is hot here mostly cats can survive here so they could survive there in Korea even with thick fur

에고~~ 애쓰셨네요. 덕분에 냥이들 더운 여름 시원하게 나겠어요. 전 처음 키울 때 한 달에 한 번 목욕시키다가 그리 자주 안해도 된다해서 따뜻한 계절에만 두어번 씻겼네요. 울집 아이도 씻을 때 울기는 해도 할퀴지는 않았어요. 저에 대한 믿음?으로 참아준듯... 지금은 곁에 없어요. 보고 싶네요.
I have two cats and yes they can bathe themselves but it is necessary for baths every now and then since licking can only do so much it doesn’t get them completely clean like if they get something in their fur. But the shaving part not to sure about the only time I had to shave on of my cats (vets did it) is when he was having complications with his skin, it still often happens and he needs to get shaved every now and then to reduce flare ups that are painful for him :(

Bathing them is not only unnecessary but also causes significant stress for no reason. Cats already produce natural oils that help keep their coat clean and shiny, and will spend 85% of their day grooming to keep themselves clean. all you need to do is brush every once in a while to help distribute those oils. and of course regular brushing for long haired. Cats can be very ocd and bathing them can sometimes cause excessive grooming leading to alopecia, I work in a vet clinic as a VA and we’ve seen a couple cases of owners bathing their cats and their cats will lick themlselves raw after because it’s something weird and different on their skin.

@@josieellis225 I only ever bathe my cats if they get something in their fur mainly my cat that has a skin issue and has to get groomed every so often since he can’t get the gunk out of his fur that he’ll have left. I don’t add a lot of water and I put a towel at the bottom so his paws are comfortable. His vet even said that I need to wash him every so often. They gave me special shampoos for my fur baby as well which helps stop the itchiness of his flare ups. But with my female cat, I only bathed her about three times since she got poop in her fur and she stunk really badly. Every cat might be different but I don’t struggle whenever I wash my fur babies. The way they are going about it in this video is scaring the cat which is why it wants to run away. It’s best to have a bucket to wash them or a bath then put a towel on the bottom since it makes their paws more comfortable, and about my cat with the skin issue, he has had it since he was a kitten but it only seemed to get worse as he got older he would continuously lick the spots which was really concerning so I took him to the vet I don’t remember what it’s called but I know it starts with a C everything else was fine but it was just his skin. That’s when he was groomed for the first time which he was really good for that’s the first time they recommended a skin ointment and a shampoo.
Even elementary school kids knows that cats need their fur and it is best to leave them alone for the sake of their health and protection. This is just insane
As a cat owner myself...this is definitely somethin you never do. If you do not like the shedding of a cat then you buy one of them furless cats like that do not have fur what's-so-ever.
Please don’t shave your short-haired cats. The only time a cat should be shaved is in cases of matting in longer haired breeds. A cat's fur is designed to create an ideal temperature buffer to help regulate their body temperature and make a protective layer for the skin in hot and cold temperatures. Cat's skin is also delicate and can be easy to nick or damage while shaving. Please consult a vet and/or pet groomer before shaving your pet to assure that you are making the most beneficial decisions for you AND your animals!
If you dislike cat hair/fur just get cats that are hairless and don’t put these two babies in stress I own two cats as well and I just cannot imagine doing this to them
Однозначно, что не надо кошек брить, а достаточно купить варежку для расчёсывания. А иначе вы наносите колоссальный вред, любая царапина на голой коже - это занос инфекции. Мало того - это огромный стресс для кошки. Но не стоит так издеваться над животным, достаточно купить варежку для расчёсывания и один раз в неделю шерсть вычёсывать и никаких проблем не будет.

The explanation above is the worst explanation and the people in the replies are saying *"Oh but do you know cat hair is harmful to humans"* well, cat's need their fur coat to protect their skin, and to insulate their body. Not only is this incredible unreasonable, they are shaving the cat hair only so they can "breathe" better when in reality there are no respiratory benefits to humans when you do this. The people in the replies are stupider dissing animals cruelty and defending themselves saying that they would be better off not cleaning or having to deal with the fur at the cat's expense. Furthermore, the cat was meowing and crying for help and you were mocking it. That cat may or will never trust you again and I hope these people get educated about this. If you have an allergy, don't get cats. If fur is inconvenient, don't get cats. Don't abuse them like this and expect them to love you.

Cats shouldn’t be shaved unless they have a severe skin condition that requires topical creams. Cats are very sensitive animals this is too stressful for them. Removing their coat doesn’t allow them to regulate temperature to cool off, warm up or prevent sun burns. Cats regularly groom themselves too. I very minor for hygiene is one thing but this is over the top.

You shouldn't do this to a cat, even if you have allergies which I do as well, you can take allergy medicine. Instead of fixing the cat to "coexist" together, you should fix yourself. You don't need to shave and wash your cat, most vets recommend not doing that.

고양이는 1-2년에 한번씩 털 밀어줘야 합니다. 털을 미는 가장 큰 이유는 피부병 유무 입니다 고양이들은 피부병이 있어도 극히 표현을 안하기에 모르고지나칠 경우가 흔합니다 털을 밀고 피부가 괜찮은지 확인하는게 가장 좋습니다

고양이는 털 미는거 아니래요. 저도 어떨결에 목욕시키러 갔다 밀었는데 아이가 우울증 오드라구요. 스트레스도 받고 그루밍하기가 그런가봐요 꺼끌꺼끌. 병원에서 수의사 이상하게 보드라구요. 털빠지는거 싫으면 왜 키우냐 하는식으로~털 밀면 심장사상충. 모기나 진드기 물리기 쉬워서 심장사상충 걸리기 쉽답니다. 털 밀고 바로 모기 물려서 아팠어요. 양이가 너무 미안하고 안따까웠답니다.

전 처음 키울 때 한 달에 한 번 목욕시키다가 그리 자주 안해도 된다해서 따뜻한 계절에만 두어번 씻겼네요. 울집 아이도 씻을 때 울기는 해도 할퀴지는 않았어요. 저에 대한 믿음?으로 참아준듯... 지금은 곁에 없어요. 보고 싶네요.

There’s no need to ever shave a cat like this or bath them. They clean themselves. This just causes so much unnecessary stress
I have two cats and yes they can bathe themselves but it is necessary for baths every now and then since licking can only do so much it doesn’t get them completely clean like if they get something in their fur. But the shaving part not to sure about the only time I had to shave on of my cats (vets did it) is when he was having complications with his skin, it still often happens and he needs to get shaved every now and then to reduce flare ups that are painful for him :(

Bathing them is not only unnecessary but also causes significant stress for no reason. Cats already produce natural oils that help keep their coat clean and shiny, and will spend 85% of their day grooming to keep themselves clean. all you need to do is brush every once in a while to help distribute those oils. and of course regular brushing for long haired. Cats can be very ocd and bathing them can sometimes cause excessive grooming leading to alopecia, I work in a vet clinic as a VA and we’ve seen a couple cases of owners bathing their cats and their cats will lick themlselves raw after because it’s something weird and different on their skin.

@@josieellis225 I only ever bathe my cats if they get something in their fur mainly my cat that has a skin issue and has to get groomed every so often since he can’t get the gunk out of his fur that he’ll have left. I don’t add a lot of water and I put a towel at the bottom so his paws are comfortable. His vet even said that I need to wash him every so often. They gave me special shampoos for my fur baby as well which helps stop the itchiness of his flare ups. But with my female cat, I only bathed her about three times since she got poop in her fur and she stunk really badly. Every cat might be different but I don’t struggle whenever I wash my fur babies. The way they are going about it in this video is scaring the cat which is why it wants to run away. It’s best to have a bucket to wash them or a bath then put a towel on the bottom since it makes their paws more comfortable, and about my cat with the skin issue, he has had it since he was a kitten but it only seemed to get worse as he got older he would continuously lick the spots which was really concerning so I took him to the vet I don’t remember what it’s called but I know it starts with a C everything else was fine but it was just his skin. That’s when he was groomed for the first time which he was really good for that’s the first time they recommended a skin ointment and a shampoo.
Even elementary school kids knows that cats need their fur and it is best to leave them alone for the sake of their health and protection. This is just insane

Однозначно, что не надо кошек брить, а достаточно купить варежку для расчёсывания. А иначе вы наносите колоссальный вред, любая царапина на голой коже - это занос инфекции. Мало того - это огромный стресс для кошки. Но не стоит так издеваться над животным, достаточно купить варежку для расчёсывания и один раз в неделю шерсть вычёсывать и никаких проблем не будет.

The explanation above is the worst explanation and the people in the replies are saying *"Oh but do you know cat hair is harmful to humans"* well, cat's need their fur coat to protect their skin, and to insulate their body. Not only is this incredible unreasonable, they are shaving the cat hair only so they can "breathe" better when in reality there are no respiratory benefits to humans when you do this. The people in the replies are stupider dissing animals cruelty and defending themselves saying that they would be better off not cleaning or having to deal with the fur at the cat's expense. Furthermore, the cat was meowing and crying for help and you were mocking it. That cat may or will never trust you again and I hope these people get educated about this. If you have an allergy, don't get cats. If fur is inconvenient, don't get cats. Don't abuse them like this and expect them to love you.
