While still in Bacolod City, try their famous Cansi, a soup base of beef shanks with a souring ingredient quintessentially Hiligaynon, the Batwan mixed with red chili and young jackfruit stuff.
thank you guys keep on coming im following you, im going to Philippines next year i need a break from the weather of Canada lol Im staying in makati my family have a condo there i miss the weekend market there too 😋
@7:06 that was a Christmas tree, it was built just last year, they probably did not remove it on purpose because on valentine's day that was filled valentine's related objects. Lagoonbis one of the hang out spots here in Bacolod, and by the way it's ok to feed the fishes there especially with popcorn 😅 we did that as kids...also a good place for a walk and I think they held zumbas there early morning
@ :40 haha yes! Exactly. A pool area with zero shade is extremely uninviting to me as well. Who wants to roast in the sun the entire time. If it's pool weather it's too hot to not have a shady area! Anyway love seeing you in Bacolod. I'm in the process of buying a lot out there through my ex mother in law who became a close friend with my mom. Planning to retire out there someday and continue my Philippines vlogging soon! Cheers guys
I love how their park kinda gives the feel of Rizal/Luneta Park here and you also see the Spanish type building around it too 😊 And almost everywhere here in Philippines are being told and considered not safe but it really all comes down to others seeing it for themselves that there's good everywhere so yes that's Philippines 😅🥰 Don't forget to Like, Comment, and Subscribe to That Philippine's Life for more videos like this one!
When are you going to make a video of the Iloilo Capitol district? :) Some interesting sights there as well, like Casa Real, Museo De Iloilo and the National Museum Iloilo branch in the old provincial jail. Kinda funny how you managed to film the Capitol in Bacolod first before the one in Iloilo.
You guys sure do love a good mall. That one looked like it was missing all its decorations. Like a naked Christmas tree. Bring on the fancy 😅 Those swarming fish 🐟 gave me the fear!! Be careful roaming around in bacolod there are still lots of holdapers on motorcycles. Usually their main targets are the students. You can rarely see policemen roaming around.
Oh really, how about in france and other European countries in which tourists are robbed in the streets in broad daylight.petty crimes are happening in every corner of the world.
I visited Bacolod last January... The city has a lot of potential but what really disappoints me is the amount of garbage from the sea port area going to the city proper also the parking and the vendors.. the LGU and the locals need to step up when it comes to cleanliness and organizing the city...
@@ajy1980 Goodness if I wanted a megacity I would move to Manila area. I am looking for a mid sized city with good health care when I retire there this fall. I have a May/June scouting trip upcoming.

Great idea we have done a lot downtown but not the capital
Still more development in the city, unlike the previous years
There's used to be a restaurant at the middle of the Lagoon
Wow that would have been so nice to eat at
NICE🔥🔥🔥
Welcome to Bacolod. You should go to Bacolod Government Center at night.

🇵🇭💖HAPPY EASTER!
🐇😪✝️🕊️✌️
It's so sad why they have those fences that surround the park, you couldn't get in any time you want
Bacolod seems to be an awesome city. Do you like it as much as Iloilo, and would you live there instead of Iloilo.
Bacolod has more interesting places to offer

I think this are changing fast the port was definitely a lot more cleaned than you describe. Hopeful it stays on the right trend
Same with Iloilo a lot of garbage anywhere and narrow roads hopefully the LGU will address this all problems
I agree, compared to Iloilo super clean, organize
And very progressive
@@BiancaBeyond Bacolod is much prettier and economically booming now .Their slogan is "megacity on 2050".
