I agree with the non-pet friendly places especially one a lot of handlers take out young puppies before they should be in that environment. I personally wait as well. Love the harness!

Glad to hear I’m not the only one that thinks that! Thank you so much! 🤍

Thanks for the video. Service dog Q and As are always fun to watch. It’s great that you were able to find a successful match. You’re right that it’s often hard to do so when looking at shelter prospects but that was definitely a good idea to do the evaluation and temperament testing first. I feel like that’s not something that gets talked about enough when you are looking at getting a service dog from not a program or a breeder who breeds for service work and does the temperament tests themselves.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video 🤍 I feel like temperament and evaluation testing is a must when picking a prospect, it gives you a clearer idea on what type of dog you’re getting

@@chronicallymoss so true, devermentment testing I think should be the first step when looking at prospects after of course already deciding things like age, breed, size etc. etc. Also, do you have any service dog gear that you would be interested in trading? I have a few pieces that my dog and I either no longer use or it didn’t work for us the way I planned.

@@asecretcourtofcrowsandcloc4084 exactly! Unfortunately at this time I don’t, I’ve already sold the gear I’d would have liked to trade, but thank you for your interest! 🤍
