I had ovarian cancer , and my wasn't even a stage 1 and I had 2 tumors on my ovaries one tumor was 3 lbs and the other one was 10 lbs plus 8 gallons water between my stomach lining . I was miss dinoticed by 2 different doctors. I suffered for 7 yrs. With it. The doctor told my husband if I would have waited another week I would have died. My ribs were spreading and my legs and feet were swelling and I looked like I was pregnant triples. The tumors were pushing my organs up into my heart. Thank you for sharing. I’m 48 yo peri menopausal female. I feel put off by my GYNO with my complaints. I had hysterectomy many years back, leaving my ovaries intact. That was approx 2011. I began to have problems with bloating and discomfort, constipation for about 8 months now. Despite how little I eat, I feel full quickly. I crave sugar, maybe it is the hormones. Taking very little hormones. 1/2 (sometimes less) than Estradol daily. I have had some strange sensations in my groin area (over my lower abdomen) mild cramping similar to what used to feel like menstral cramps?? Also just weighty in my gut. Where I’ve always been relatively petite to average. I have pressure and constipation. I cannot have a regular BM without miralax. And even then hard to empty completely. I have hx of rectocele repair at same time of Hysterectomy. It feels like a I don’t finish completely emptying my bowel. Almost as if something is in the way. My doc,, whom Ive seen since I was 21, seems to be dismissive. I told him all of the aforementioned symptoms. He says “it sounds like your bowls” they are close to the area of complaint. Directed me to “drink water and take Miralax daily”. I have have days where I have no appetite. I have waves of nausea, gassy like a MAN (sorry) my belly feels distended. Other oddities; I cannot eat oatmeal or any oat products where before have always enjoyed. Last summer, was eating it for breakfast regularly stopped me up for four days. I have never had these problems before. Now, I have low energy, Some days I wake up, Drink enough coffee to get me going and get my son off to school, then I come back home and sleep. Im a stay at home mom. Had a child later in life. But thats not my normal. As of late sleeping 1-3 hours daily. I don’t feel horrible, I just don’t feel like myself. I feel like I have some pathology somewhere in my body, Other times I feel this just may be menopause or hormonal? The belly distention and change in bowel habits worry me. My daughter had very heavy and painful periods. She was always feeling bloated and she would vomit right after eating... They said she was bulimic, they said it was all in her head and by the time she had so much pain she drove herself to the hospital and had a huge tumor removed together with her ovaries... It was too late even though they said she was fine and young and she would be ok...she died 11 months later at the age of 24... Don't let anyone tell you that it's nothing... Make them schedule an Ultrasound, MRI everything... Because they don't know what you know!!!!
rochelle123ist, I did not sue the doctors because I didn’t think about that. There’s so much information now. We also didn’t know enough about ovarian cancer 15 years ago to even know the symptoms. I do wish I had pushed for more aggressive testing. Do you have symptoms? Have you been given every test there is? Have they done an MRI, sonogram, internal test? There’s also a special blood test to see if you have cancer. Has that been done? Just make sure you ask them to test you for everything. These are all things I wish I had known. Make sure you have every document they give you on your visits.

My Mother was diagnosed with advance ovarian cancer at the age of 66. A year prior, I was visiting from out of state and was shocked to see her gaunt look and sudden wright loss. She refused to go to see a Doctor. A year later she bloated and and been dealing with indigestion and burping and couldn’t eat much at a time. My daughter is 33, she had every symptom other than the problem with her bowels. Her Dr. Did not put it all together. She went to the ER because she knew something was not right. This was only 2 weeks after seeing her Dr. The Dr. in the ER immediately found a football sized mass on her ovary. She had to have a complete hysterectomy and is now going through chemo. Thankfully it was caught in stage 1. Drs need to get the thought of the age factor out of their mind.

I always did my best to keep away from surgical procedure at all cost, since it carries too many risks that scares me a lot. I believe there has to be a better treatment solution to help me get rid of any type of ovarian cyst.

Thank you for this information. Unfortunately I have suffered a mid degree uterine prolapse after the birth of my third son and the second two children were very close together. So I have a strange heavy feeling in my uterus area like something is heavy and pulling. I have noticed some bumps on my cervix like possible nabodian cysts they feel different throughout the month but always are there. I am now experiencing sickness feeling and I'm definitely not pregnant but it's that type of thing a constant daily sickness feeling. My appetite isn't affected but I am starting to get scared I need to get a check for cervical cancer I'm overdue one by about 3 years because I was pregnant when I was supposed to have the routine one. I also have a history of cervical cancer on my mother's side. I have every single symptom you mentioned. The doctor thinks it’s IBS but he also referred me to a gynecologist. It takes a month to get in though so I just have to wait.
Contact the doctor obviously, but this worked for me, Weight loss, drink parsley juice, eat sesame and jaggery burfis every day and drink water, pray for healing, and stop junk food and sugars and drink aloevera juice

In the medical world I hate the word "usually". I never, ever fall into the "usually" category. I'm always in the 1 or 2%, or "rare" box.

Thank you for this information. Unfortunately I have suffered a mid degree uterine prolapse after the birth of my third son and the second two children were very close together. So I have a strange heavy feeling in my uterus area like something is heavy and pulling. I have noticed some bumps on my cervix like possible nabodian cysts they feel different throughout the month but always are there. I am now experiencing sickness feeling and I'm definitely not pregnant but it's that type of thing a constant daily sickness feeling. My appetite isn't affected but I am starting to get scared I need to get a check for cervical cancer I'm overdue one by about 3 years because I was pregnant when I was supposed to have the routine one. I also have a history of cervical cancer on my mother's side. I'm absolutely horrified by the possibility of having cancer but because of my babies needing me I'm going to have to get checked out asap. I'm bloated all the time... I think it's been 2-3 months. That's why I'm here looking for an answer. Doctor appointment next week and we will see what will happen. I've been told that it might be a water retention but every day seems to be worse. I look pregnant (I'm not).
