People hear powder and think matte, but this is a glow looking “cream” ..I started using the Complexion Rescue under the original and the results is amazing. Always a shock to people when I tell them I wear powder makeup..it looks so fresh and moisturized. Thanks for putting this out! Love this product
My jaw DROPPED when I saw the side you applied to first! 🙀 You’re so right that it doesn't look like powder at all on the skin. I loved this duo of Bare Minerals videos you did, Alexa! 👏🏻🥰
I loved this whole look!! I love that lip color on your skin tone as well! You made this look so effortless and you inspire me to break out my bareminerals that I left in the back of my drawer lol. I'm still a newbie to BM so this is super helpful thank you!
I've loved this foundation for so long and it looks so beautiful on you! So full coverage but still so glowy and natural looking. Loved your lip and cheek products too. I'm glad u got to have some good alone time filming =)
Absolutely gorgeous 🧡 can’t believe how dewy this is!! Thank you so much for comparing the BM loose powder with the Alima Pure Satin Loose Powder ingredients. Going to check your Alima Pure video out again as this is the foundation I currently own and have been loving! I love mineral foundations and aim to achieve dewy looks like you did here ✨
I love the Weleda as well mostly in PM as I'm dry and more mature.... I appreciate the original BM foundation, but need time to properly make it look beautiful. Hence, I wear it maybe once a month since I get up for work at 5:30am.... Enjoyed your application! Don't see this a lot any more and it's nice to see a video on it. Definitely a learning curve with BM, but so worth it when one gets it down with such a nice subtle illuminated effect!
This foundation is such a throwback for me! I used to use it a long time ago and bought it off QVC. 😆 I had the brushes for SO long too. RUclips is making me want to try it again!
You're adorable and have really enjoyed both videos on Bare mineral, it brought me back to their beautiful loose eyeshadows. I might have to revisit BM again. You got yourself a new subscriber 😁
aw damn, I was so on board until you said about eyes watering and moisture breaking it down. My eyes water easily and my nose runs a lot cause of a deviated septum and nasal polyps. Maybe one day I'll find the perfect combo haha. I do love bareminerals liquid and cream concealers though. The powder combo looks stunning on you!
I agree with everyone else you are glowing. I was wondering if you tried Alima Pure and lo and behold you talk about the ingredient differences between the two. I might revisit Bare Minerals foundation again Thank you so much for the best honest informative videos of any blooger I have watched
I fell in love with the Sonia Kashuk magic mineral palette years ago, then they discontinued it even though it won awards in 2007. I scooped up all I could on eBay. I got compliments on how great my skin was while wearing it. I got a sample for Alima. I liked it, but did not have the sheen or glow. I researched and it seems bismuth oxide is part of the glow. So I got barre minerals original. Applied it first today, and my mom said good coverage, but not the same glow was Sonia Kashuk. I think I will work on brushes and application. I am into clean makeup and do not want to clog my pores.
Thank you! I think overall, simplifying my routine and not changing it all the time helped a lot. For scarring, chemical exfoliants have been very helpful. I love the Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum. It is super pricey, but I only use it at night and it is highly effective.
I had not bad acne scarring and did DOT laser therapy on my cheeks more than a decade ago and it was worth it. I did not even have him dial up to the full strength as I chose just the cheeks vs. full face. It generates collagen growth over the next six months after you do it. Mine cost $500. A tad painful, but they give you Percocet, and aftercare products. At least where I went did. You put aquaphor on the area after the treatment and don't touch the scabs until they fall off. By day 3 I could have gone back to work with makeup on, but in an abundance of caution I took 8 days of work off.
I would die to know your shade in estee lauder double wear if you have tried that one. Double wear was my ride or die when I had very oily skin (before baby) and now I really want to try this powder foundation but I can’t guess the shade 😫

You did a beautiful job, your skin looks amazing!
Beautiful look on you. Glad I found your channel. I used BM powder for years, but then found Root Pretty online and can get better coverage from Root.
I’ve got that same brush and it ALWAYS sheds like crazy! Love the foundation though.

how do I make this stuff last? it was patchy and falling off at the 8 hour mark for me indoors …
Your skin looks so good! Which skincare products do you think helped the most with the post acne marks? xo

Look it findation. You enter the shades in your current foundation and they give you your shade in other brands
This looks beautiful on you!
Thank you Ashley!
Where are your hoops from? I’m obsessed! Thanks xo
They are from Altar'd State 😊
Alexa Blake thank you! I just subscribed and binged your videos, I love your personality and overall aura. Keep it up fellow mama✨
Should try rawskinueitcals their powder foundation is awesome!!
I have dry skin too and I have no issues with it, it melts in the skin seems like through the day and amazing coverage.
Thank you for the recommendation! I have heard a lot of great things about that foundation :)
I love BareMinerals 🥰
Does this work for acne prone skin and covering redness ?
I am not sure about acne prone skin, but it will definitely cover redness 👍 it has great medium-full coverage
