No words to describe this piece. A simply hauntingly beautiful melody. Calm, deep, peaceful, nostalgic. Few chords and notes for a world of feeling. Never got tired of listening and playing this masterpiece.
This is probably one of, if not my absolute favorite piece from the Hill House soundtrack. I didn't even realize how much this particular song resonated with me until I heard it play for the first time in Bly Manor and instantly recognized the tune. Out of all the beautiful scores in both series, this one just stuck with me. I get chills every time I hear it, but not because it's from a scary show. The song carries such powerful emotion in such a slow, gentle piece, that it sends shivers up my spine.
this tune is me, whatever that means. It's the part of me that is hidden in the deepest recesses of my soul. It's that part of my soul which I keep well hidden from the bloodthirsty appetites of the societies around me. It's the part of my soul which I long for someone to see and embrace. It's the purest form of my soul before it entered this body of mine and whenever I hear this song it reminds me of my soul's journey before...it reminds me that I was a noble soul, a kind soul, a compassionate soul, a benevolent soul. I really think the Newton Bros were spiritually inspired when they composed this. Beautifully played Luca Cozzi.
This piece captures the feeling I got after watching these shows perfectly, the endings made me almost cry which never happens to me. I was able to get so invested in the characters. It was also horrific and scary.
this song makes me feel comforted- not creeped out. I honestly love Bent Neck Lady. sure she scares me but i often look at my shadow when its dark out, tilt my head and stare at it.
